The First Avenue Pub is the best bar in Monmouth to have a quiet drink with friends. The staff and regular crowd are friendly and the prices are incredibly cheap. The bar is well stocked with popular beer, spirits and even a bit of wine. The bar area includes a shuffleboard table and dart boards. More importantly, the owners do not feel the need to blast TV or music at the patrons. First Ave is a regular stop when we visit town.
