I lover going down there to read, walk, listen to music or take in a cultural event. There are so many places near by. The places to eat are too numerous to mention, the Founder's Hall is right there. so you can get a history lesson, you can visit the visitors welcome center and get great info on Charlottetown.

The landing was very busy. People were friendly, shopping excellent, views spectacular, and very close to downtown.

Take an easy bicycle ride on city streets the few blocks from the cruise terminal to Confederation Landing Park then catch the rail trail. We rode out several miles on well maintained crushed stone paths wide enough for bicycles and walkers. Was fun. Automobile traffic gives way to bicycles.

We had a good stop to relax at the waterfront. There were boats tied alongside the pier and the view across the bay was fantastic, with the fall colors exploding in full view.

Totally impressed with the bridge ( 8 miles long) and the commencement of it's structure at the park.

this is located in the best place in Charlottetown. right down by the water and a park, close to parking and within distance to walk downtown. There is location information and historic info on Charlottetown and Confederation of Canada. It is by the old train repair yard and close to the cruise ship welcome center.

We were only there for a few hours but the performances we saw were good, the exhibits were wonderful and the kid zone was good too. The restaurant/bar was very cool!

the make shift fathers restaurant at the confederation landing is tourist trap and shameless rip off. the over priced garbage they serve is not eatable and the price of a child,s chicken fingers and fries was $10.00. it was over cooked, dried up mess. Its no surprise its murphy owned and run, all there restaurants are the same over priced bar food and not very good bar food.

This is a nice area just between the water and downtown. It has lots signs and plaques telling about the history of the area, the City and Confederation and lots of different artwork. It also joins to the boardwalk that runs for a couple of kilometers on the waters edge and is part of one of the walking tours around historic Charlottetown.

If you are visiting for the first time and do not wish to be overwhelmed by the "city" of Charlottetown your first step should be the Confederation Landing and the Visitor's Center. If you have taken the time to check the top attractions, etc in Charlottetown and pick the areas of interest to you, then ask the information guides to show you where each one is located on the map. This will save you time, guide most efficiently through the maze of streets and help you estimate the time you will need to complete your visit. After the visitor's center do take some time to stroll around the Confederation Landing Park to see the marina, historical markers, shops and more shops and some very nice restaurants. You may time it just right and see a cruise ship enter the harbor. In any event, 1/2 hour should be sufficient to get a lay of the land and then follow your map. This is a clean and safe place. Parking fee for the day here as well.

This is a nice park to walk around and learn a little about history. scenic because it is beside the sea. Well kept.

Good for walking, seeing cruise ships up close and personal, viewing the harbor, restaurants, shopping, all in area.

It's a large, open park with plenty of green space and some trails through the shrubbery, juts out into the harbour and cruise ships dock just off the park. Lots to see and do in the shops set up by the marina, and a boardwalk all around to take in some really great scenery.

The bridge in itself is AMAZING!!!!! Over 8 miles long!!! Once off the bridge the Landing Park was colorful and inviting....but all was closed on October 3.

This is a great piece of history where you can watch the cruise ships come in and talk to the visitors. The history is deep and rich and its right downtown Charlottetown.
