rhythms at rainbow beach

We loved the mahi mahi bites which we enhoyed as an appetizer. Delicious frozen drinks were consumed! Loved the Lime in the Coconut! I enjoyed one of the daily specials which was the Guiness battered snapper and it was served with a ginger aioli which was so good, I got every drop out of the container. We sat out on the deck this time overlooking the beach. We had done the Gecko's ATV tour in the morning which starts and ends right in front of the restuarant. All in all - good food and a very relaxing place to hang out!

Took the cab from the cruise dock for $3 each way. Wanted to go to Sandy Point but couldn't get a cab driver headed that way and all the cab drivers we encountered said the beach there was "very rocky". Ended up at rainbow beach at Rhythm's instead and had a great time. Got beach chairs for $5 each (umbrellas were $10 but we didn't need as we found a shady spot up by the restaurant) outside of Rhythms restaurant/bar. Small beach area and still lots of rocks but this made for some great snorkeling. You can bring your own gear or rent at the beach. Water was crystal clear and the atmosphere is very "chill". Not sure the kiddo (who stayed onbthe boat with family) would have liked this beach due to the rocks along the shoe and in the water (there were several children there who looked to be having fun though) but perfect for adults who want a great place to relax their brain! Hopefully Charlie the chicken man is grilling chicken outside, delicious! All the food at Rhythms was excellent and the service was great. Wonderful way to spend the last day of our cruise!

We came on a Sunday, intending to snorkel at the pier. Found out this was not allowed when a cruise ship is in port. So plan B, took a short drive to Rainbow Beach. Found Rhythms and settled in. We had the appetizer mahi mahi bites. So yummy! Grilled with just the right amount of seasonings, and a delicious sauce lightly drizzled over the tender bite- size pieces. Good beer and drink selection. I had a refreshing mojito with fresh mint and made with agave, instead of sugar or simple syrup, so it wasn't too sweet. Menu looked like a nice variety. Fun place to spend some time on a beautiful beach. West end calm waters.

The ambiance and location of this little spot is just perfect! We ate here twice during our stay on St. Croix. We also rented SUP boards, chairs and umbrellas and relaxed on the beach. The food and service were great, LOVED the drinks and thoroughly enjoyed our time at this perfect little spot on St. Croix.
