My boyfriend & I had a sunrise flight this morning. Todd was very professional & informative. The flight was FANTASTIC!!!!!! My boyfriend who isn't keen on heights totally enjoyed the flight. Thank you Todd for a memorable ride!!!!!

I am sorry you feel this way (very strong opinion) as we strive to give passengers the best experience we can; evidenced by our other reviews. We did have an issue with our reservation software which was outside of our control and I apologize about that! When I noticed it; we reached out as soon as we could to let all the passengers know. The reason for the weather phone message not being updated since Sept. 29th was because I was operating 3 balloons in Albuquerque, New Mexico and there was no reason to update the weather phone due to no passengers scheduled to fly during that time. I apologize I did not update the weather phone right at 2pm on Oct. 15th, 2014 although we did get you the information in a timely manner and offered a future date that would work as soon as there was an opening available. It can be difficult to operate a business where weather plays such an important role on the safety of people's lives although we have never had an accident because SAFETY is our #1 Priority. The reason why we did not offer to give you a refund is due to LivingSocial has asked us to refer anyone who is asking for a refund back to them because the voucher was purchased through them... We are not allowed to give any refunds to you as per our contract with LivingSocial. I apologize that you had a bad experience and I will take ownership on not setting the weather phone in a timely manner. I hope you satisfied this with LivingSocial and got your money back. I am sorry you didn't get your balloon ride and hope sometime you are able to have this wonderful experience like other SunKiss Passengers as you can see on some of the other reviews.

My husband and I have been wanting to take a hot air balloon ride for quite some time. We were thankful that the weather cooperated and we had a wonderful time. Todd was a wonderful pilot and he and his crew made the experience a memorable one. We are definitely planning to take more rides with Todd. Thanks to all!

I've always wanted to go up in a hot air balloon. Todd was great. He knows his stuff, is a very safe pilot and we had a beautiful ride. I hope to go again sometime.

We had no idea what to expect in a hot air balloon ride. Even though the winds were a little higher than expected, we just glided through the air with ease. It was a beautiful day and the sky couldn't have been prettier. I would have liked it to have been a little less crowded in the basket we rode in, but it was still a lovely trip. We were in the air about 30 minutes. The landing was perfect. I couldn't help thinking about the Wizard of Oz! Definitely worth it, especially for a special occassion or unique gift-giving oppportunity.

Always wanted to take a balloon ride, and finally got the chance. It was amazing!! Todd and his crew were great. The views were spectacular, the ride is so peaceful and smooth, the whole experience was great. We would highly recommend this adventure to everyone!

What a fun and exciting flight over the beautiful countryside. If you've ever thought about taking a hot air balloon ride, or would like to give a gift to someone, this is the experience for you. The crew was great and the flight was breathtaking. The champagne toast afterward provided a time to ask questions and learn more about the balloon. I thought it was great that the crew took the time to get to know the riders after the flight and really seemed to care about making the experience a friendly, fun place to spend the evening. This experience makes a great gift for an anniversary, birthday or just a fun suprise for someone you care about!!

The pilot and crew was great and you felt safe in his hands. Wear a large brim hat and ear plugs and you are all set to go. This was on my bucket list.

To Captain Todd and Crew. Thank you Sunkiss for a great first balloon flight experience. Todd was a consummate professional through the multiple (weather related ) re-bookings, to his calm and capable demeanor in handling his gear and his customers. Taking out the "Big" balloon, though filled with the 10 of us made for a great experience. Suggestions: don't forget your sunblock, shades and a hat. Those burners and the ensuing condensation can make for a hot, wet time especially for us 6+ feet tall. We were dressed for dinner after the flight and though it ultimately wasn't a concern we would definitely go more casually next time, as getting involved and helping out with inflating and or packing of the balloon is a part of the experience you should definitely try to enjoy. I recommended the experience and this operator highly for anyone wanting to try. The elderly in our group all were able to handle things with aplomb though we all had wished for a bit more wind while aloft. We look forward to trying again come the autumn.

We had a great time. There were 4 of us in our party but we went with 6 others so 10 in the basket. The pilot was great and we were able to participate in the setting up and packing up as well. It was a great experience and the view was just spectacular. I would highly recommend this to others. The champagne picnic at the end was a great way to finish off the experience. If I go again I would recommend going in the fall as the view would be even better than August.

I surprised my wife for our 35th, which fell on a day that could only be considered a 10 in upstate NY. The ride was a lot of fun, the balloon expertly piloted by Capt. Mike, with a capable chase crew. We must have had a smaller basket than one of the other writers, because we were pretty scrunched in with just 6. Minimal wind was an issue at first, but it picked up as we descended, and we were treated to spectacular sunset views of the Green Mountains, Adirondacks, Washington County farms, etc. Landing in an unsuspecting farmer's front yard was a hoot. Highly recommended as a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but could easily see making it a regular thing.

What a great experience! Very smooth ride and Todd, our pilot, was excellent. Great with communication before the flight and great to work with with any rescheduling due to weather.Best thing to feel like you are gliding through the air! One tip-wear a hat. The burner can be hot on the top of your head!

My Sis and I enjoyed the ride. The view and the experience was great. Unfortunately , there was no wind, so we did not go very far; but our pilot Todd made it a fun experience any way. Would definitely recommend this company. The only thing I would suggest is to keep the # of people to 8 -- we had 10 people and we were a little crowded and I happened to be in the middle and could see as well as I would have liked. Otherwise thumbs up!!

Going on a hot air balloon as always been on my bucket list. I am so thankful that we found Sunkiss Ballooning! We went on a sunset ride last Friday night and I was speechless. This is a top notch company! They work so well together and Todd made it a very memorable experience. We can't wait to go back again! BOOK WITH THEM AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!
