We went during the off-season, so we had a tour to ourselves. First hand look and taste of the process of making the beloved liquor. Tried the Summer of 69 and the Bees Knees cocktails afterwards. The bartender was awesome, drinks were amazing. The Distillery was worth the visit, and all products are worth the price.

Loved the vodka. Also the Bloody Mary mix - bought several bottles! Also the ginger mixer. Thanks! Will stop again when in the area.

Thought we'd stop for lunch at the Dancing Cat next door after visiting the Museum at Bethel Woods but it was closed (it would open for dinner at 5P). Fortunately, the Catskill Distilling Company which shares the same parking lot (perhaps both are owned by the same person/s) was open. The person there was very friendly and knowledgeable and the place is well appointed & spacious. Free samples of all there products which are bourbon, vodka, several different whiskies and grappa are available. Truth be told there is not much to do in this area of the Catskills in November and we were glad they were open. It turned out to be a much better experience than we thought.

Taste testing and distillery tour was a surprise stop after visiting Museum at Bethel Woods. Nice surroundings, will try the Dancing Cat Saloon next door is we visit again.

The distillery chief gave us a tour of the facility and let us try some bourbon and gin even though they were closed. => Go to this place and support good people!

We tried to have lunch at the Dancing Cat next door after they said they would be open for lunch and then were not. Fortunately the parking lot is shared with the distilling company. What a great find! These people know what they are doing and doing a great job at it. Four different whiskies, gin, vodka and grappa are made here. Tastings are available. Doc, the master distiller is very knowledgable about his products. We left with a bunch of stuff!

We stopped off on our way home from a trip to the Berkshires. We had the opportunity to meet the owner Monte who shared his story and his product. It was well worth the stop if you like whisky and other distilled spirits. They are located on a beautiful property with wide open space with ample picnic tables that were perfect for a sunny day.

Love this place! Great atmosphere, inside and outside on the wonderful porch. Friendly, knowledgable staff, excellent products. Stop in before a show at Bethel Woods or just because. I'll definitely go back.

When in Bethel, New York stop by the Catskill Distilling Company and have Calvin give you a tour of the plant. Very knowledgeable man. Also sample some of their fine products.

Great looking and immaculate property with a Restaurant/Bar/Music Venue (Dancing Cat Saloon) on same site. The Catskill Distilling Co has created and has a fine array of produced-on-site product that you really should try while on on of their tours. It's an impressive facility. The bourbon and whiskey are great, they're known for the "Peace" Vodka, and the grappa (Monte Sachs) has produced is devine. I've visited a number of times and also spent a number of nights at the Dancing Cat for dinner and / or music entertainment. Good times! Check Catskill Distilling when you're in the BETHEL area or make it a destination. You may want to call ahead for Tour Reservations. Enjoy a visit - You won't be sorry.

This is the second time that we visited the distillery and restaurant, this time we brought our grown daughters and they loved it too! The tour was educational and impressive with the attention to detail in manufacturing. Monte shared with the girls the science that goes into their "party" spirits and how important higher quality is. We stayed for dinner at the restaurant next door for great food and local entertainment! We all purchased a bottle of our favorite spirit. This is a must if you visiting the Catskill area. Glad that we drove up from Harmony PA just for the girls to experience it.

We went on a Sunday and it was OK. You can take a tour and sample their liquiors. We generally use top shelf spirits so I am probably being a little hard on them. There spirits were OK. The backroom tour was interesting. They do have a bar where you can try their spirits in cocktails.

I recently stayed at Happy Days Campground (best place to stay in area) just up the street, and was directed to The Dancing Cat/Catskill Distilling. The food was excellent, the beer COLD, and the tasters from the accompanying distillery were great. Our waitress was wonderful and extremely helpful! She gave us suggestions and directions to other local attractions. Prices reasonable and atmosphere delightful. We were there on a fall day and sat outside. We toured the distillery and the brew master showed us around and explained the process to just the four of us.

Excellent small batch spirits, with hand-crafted cocktails meant to showcase their wares. Having only been to wineries or brewpubs before, I decided to sample several cocktails. Fresh ingredients were featured in all recipes; the cucumber for gin drink was peeled and sliced when I ordered it. I was not a bourbon drinker before trying Righteous Bourbon, but I am now. We did not buy nearly enough of this and are already running short. Made the maple bourbon old-fashioned for friends who also loved it. Purchased Curious Gin as well. Will return and buy more than on first visit! Both restaurant and distillery are attractive, clean spaces with original artwork, including woodcarvings. Good craft beer on tap at both, too.
