Do yourself a big favor ! Get on the Lowe's distribution mailing list. They will send you notices about upcoming concerts, classic film screenings, & other exceptional events. And then, when you actually enter the building, make sure to bring your camera ! It is gorgeous ! Dates back to 1929, when discretionary spending was put on hold in a major way, due to the Stock Market Crash. However, over the years, this building has been preserved: most recently, by the "Friends of the Lowe's" who deserve most of the credit ! I believe this venue can also be rented for private events? It is extraordinary ! And you won't be disappointed.

Visit this Historical Loews for a trip back in time, a time when movie going was a formal and grand affair. The theatre is slowly but surely being restored to it's former ornate glory. In the meantime, come support the restorative efforts and enjoy an $8 classic movie and dollar snacks.

The Landmark Jersey Lowe’s Theatre is such a rare and special find, I truly don’t know if I can put it into words.A movie palace built in 1929, it was almost torn down until a community group lobbied to save it-and I’m so glad they did!Now a nonprofit enterprise, the theater is slowly coming back to her former glory as a place to see classic and independent movies, stage plays and art shows. From the fabric draped walls, to the pipe organ that rises from the floor, this place is truly a “Palace”.Keep an eye on the website for movies being shown and special events. Better yet, volunteer to help in the restoration.Take the PATH train and in 20 minutes you’ll be seeing how movies used to be watched…and should always be watched!

モールのフードコートに隣接してあった映画館で、どんな種類があるか見てみたが、10くらいのタイトルがあって好きなところで見られるようになっていた。映画を見て食事して買い物して、ここだけで全てそろうなと思った。

今でも映画チェーンで有名なロウズが作った劇場で非常に豪華絢爛。外観も古いながらも素敵ですが、中をぜひともご覧ください。英語ですが、無料ツアーもあります。ただ、昼間はまだいいのですが、夜はあまりおすすめしない地域です。
