Wonderland has been run by the Borchardt family for over 60 years, and my wife and I met up with the managers, Paul and Paula, on our visit to North West Texas. They told us a little about the history of the park and the roller coasters, and it was a privilege to meet them.Wonderland has 4 roller coasters catering from the younger guests to the teenage thrill seekers, and on our visit it was clearly a popular place to be - the place was very busy. As well as the coasters, the park features a number of other rides and attractions, including a drop ride and an excellent dark ride, the Fantastic Journey. The largest of the coasters (Texas Tornado) and the dark ride require separate tickets but are both worth doing if visiting the park. There is free parking along the front and side of the park.Whilst the park is not Six Flags, in many ways it is a nicer place to visit than these larger parks, and is run by some great people who enjoy carrying on the family tradition of thrilling 'children' of all ages with a great selection of rides and attractions. Well worth a visit if in the area.

Wonderland is great for kids aged 9-13, our son loved every minute, rode the pirate ship 10 times, we as adults however were left feeling robbed lol, the tickets are expensive, and no matter how many times you get drenched on the water rides it just doesn't seem to justify the price. (although our son WOULD disagree!) the park itself was clean and looked well maintained, there was no long waits for rides, the food was good too, try the nachos, they were the best (just ask for everything on them, and take your own fork lol) im not even sure why only 3 stars, our son did love it, just maybe a bit lackluster for the adults but the nachos........heaven wrapped in messy napkins :)... ohhh funnel cake.....

I don't think they have enough rides for kids under 8, but if your kids are older then this is the place for them! They have a good selection of things to do (water rides, roller coasters, miniature golf, and a small arcade). The lines weren't long when we were there and the kids got to ride their favorites over and over. When the kids are happy, we're happy!!

We paid for spectator passes for two adults and got the rides pass for my daughter. The children's rides are limited but fun because she was able to do them on her own. We had to purchase separate tickets for the other rides we wanted to do with her and they were expensive. There are not enough shade areas in the park that are clean and nice and the food is expensive too. There are better things to do in Amarillo than go here.

My four and six year old love this park every year we come! It is the perfect size for kids… Short lines, lots of rides, and enough for kids five and under to be entertaining! We have lots of kids in our family and every age group loves it

We visited Wonderland Park for the first time and liked it. Besides, the weather being hot, The kids had a blast. I thought the admission price was somewhat high and was disappointed that the park did not have a gift shop (besides a few items for sale on a roll cart.

My 3 & 5 year old LOVED Wonderland! There are so many rides for the younger kids it is perfect! We go once a year while in town visiting family and it's always a blast! A great excuse for the grownups to act like kids! We can't wait to go back next year!

This amusement park was quite fun. There is a selection of rides to choose from. There isn't much to do for younger kids but there is quite a lot to do for a bit older kids (8+). There are water rides (and you do get wet), roller coasters, miniature golf, an arcade, and various carnival like rides. The lines can get a bit long for the more popular rides. The only down side is you pay for a bracelet for unlimited rides however, the more popular rides take tickets which must be purchased separately. The tickets aren't pricy however, I feel it's a bit silly considering how much you pay for the bracelet. What I did like was that the par was very compact, there was a lot to do but the park isn't very big. There are various places to sit in the shade. There are concession stands to get food and drinks. My advice is wear sunscreen and bring cash. Also, stay a while and get on all the rides. They are pretty fun.

Wonderland is a small amusement park that you don't have to walk miles and miles to ride a decent roller coaster. Plenty of rides for younger children, we had a 3 and 5 year old with us. The 3 year old was sad she was not tall enough for the "big" rides, they do have height requirements. It has very limited operating hours so be sure to check before you go!

Updated rides with quite a few water rides and a reasonable price make Wonderland a great park. Something for everyone. Concessions are good too.

Nice miniature golf course we like. The park uses hand stamps and the kids like it. Fair price for an amusement park. Lot of the rides are old, especially the little kiddie rides. Kids apparently didnt mind.

A great family owned and operated traditional amusement park. Great place to bring your family from miles around. Plenty of nice, safe, clean, well maintained rides to play on again and again. Friendly weekend rates, or just spend the afternoon... Frequent discounted days and evening sessions. Watch for their notices on their web site. If you don't like to ride, and just want to come in and watch...$5. You can't beat their prices !! You'll feel secure here too, well lit parking and midway which takes you back to the 1950's. Amarillo, also has an abundance of reasonable motels, so it won't cost you an arm and a leg to stay overnite !!! Located in Thompson Park, which also has a nice, newly upgraded Zoo!!! Just north of I-40 about 4 miles at the Dumas exit. Easy to get to from anywhere in Oklahoma, SW Kansas, Eastern New Mexico, SE Colorado, and of course Texas.

Just the right size for a family outing. Putt Putt for the folks and no too much walking. The sunsets are great to see atop of the rides. A little expensive but alot of fun. The parks and lakes that surround Wonderland are fun for a picnic and the Zoo is near by too. Good for a whole day of fun with the kiddies

WOW, what a great place to go with the family or friends. The rides a great and the water ride are so much fun. The food is very good to eat. The parking is free and plenty of space for parking. Wonderland is in a Park and the Zoo is also in the same Park.

Not very large but still is a fun time for a few hours. Our kids have always enjoyed the visit. You can get cheaper rates after 6 and you have plenty of time to ride all of the rides.
