We were taking the scenic route back to Boston from Stowe and we drove by the falls (you can see them from the road). We had to turn around and go back to see them because they were so beautiful! Warning – the boardwalk is not maintained and in the freezing weather it was very dangerous! We walked around the boardwalk where we could, and held onto the rail in other parts. Check out the picture I posted – a frozen beauty! Very accessible under normal weather conditions.

The car park for Moss Glen Falls was easy to find as someone had helpfully put a sign out beide the car park. We visited in fall and the short walk to view the falls is lovely. Stop don't drive passed on this beautiful strech of Rte 100.

It is a very easy hike to see Moss Glen Falls. My husband loved photographing the creek below the falls. So pretty! Definitely worth the effort to visit.

You have a short hike to reach the falls, but it is well worth it. There are beautiful, especially in fall with the colourful leaves. If you like a hike, you can continue further up on the trail in a beautiful setting.

We were impressed by the size of this waterfall. It is a short walk from the parking area and is a great photo opportunity for camera buffs.

Very easy hike to get to the base of this beautiful waterfall. Tricky but fun climb to the top to see it in all its glory! Wading in the very cold but refreshing water and skimming stones was lots of fun for the kids and adults.

Very easy to get to, and also very easy to drive right by. It is a quick and easy walk to get to the falls and a nice spot to spend a few moments.

While visiting family in nearby Burlington, we decided to ride over to Stowe. To get a little exercise, we decided to check out the falls. The initial walk is easy and flat and terminates just below the falls at the stream. You'll have to walk across some rocks in the stream to access the base of the falls. A 2nd option is to climb a relatively steep incline to get a view of the falls on high ground. The climb is steep but my 73 year old former Marine father-in-law made the climb with limited difficulty. The falls are beautiful and our nieces (age 9 & 10) enjoyed walking through the stream and seeing the falls. All in all well worth the stop and the 90 minutes or so we spent there!

On a motorcycle ride, we happened by it- really, saw it too late to safely stop & drove right on by! But no worries! A couple miles down the road is a turn around!I'm very thankful for that turn around! The falls have a nice sized parking lot & it's the shortest walk to a water falls ever!Well worth a 10 minute stop!

Couldn't be easier to see, just wish the sign on VT 100 south was near the parking area. It is possible to miss it, please don't! However I would not make a special trip but if you are on route 100 definitely stop.

There are two Moss Glen Falls in northern Vermont - one outside of Stowe, which has a small hike and steep hill to climb - and the falls by Granville. Both falls are quaint, picturesque, and really quite charming. The difference is that this falls is very easy to access. There is a parking lot right on Vermont Highway 100, then a short walk (maybe 100 feet?) on a boardwalk parallel to the highway, that takes you to a viewing platform to see the falls. I didn't make note, but it may even be wheel chair accessible. If not, it at least has no steps and is an easy stroll. As an added bonus, a vendor from a local Maple Syrup company was selling in the parking lot. A quick and easy stop, a very good water falls - worth the time!

This waterfall is literally on the side of Highway 100. There is a decent amount of parking and a nice little boardwalk to travel upon to avoid traffic. It's a nice planned stop if you need to take a break during a drive or just want something to stop and see for a few minutes.

Stumbled upon this by accident. It's not marked by huge tourist signs or such that you might see in other scenic places. Rather, its a simple turn off with parking spaces. Its a very nice falls to see and photograph.

Driving VT 100 it's definetely a treat of itself, but there are also wonderful places along the way that increase your travelling experience. One of them is Moss Glen Falls, a lovely 30ft. waterfall, a bit north from Granville. There's an ample pull put to park your car and from there a very short pathway through the frest leading to the Falls. Sometimes vedors are in the area selling maple goodies.

Located near Granville in the Green Mountains between Routes 7 and 100, the Falls whilst not well signed are easily found. There is a pull-in with off-road parking on the left. A short walk through a shrub and long grass area across wooden planks covering the muddier and or flooded parts of the path eventually takes you to the bottom of the waterfall where the sounds of cascading water can be heard. From there, a climb up a reasonably steep rocky and tree rooted worn pathway leads you to the top to gasp and view the Falls in their beautiful glory with white water crashing down through the rocky ravine. Worth every step, take a camera for some spectacular photo opportunities together with a decent pair of walking shoes for the climb and muddy path.
