There was a variety of slots and seemed to pay out better than some of the other casinos. This casino is a little small. Way out in the outback away from everything. I don't think I would travel a couple hours to go again, but it was interesting. Skip the restaurant. The service was super, super slow.

We enjoy playing here - we played four times and left each time with more money then we brought, so we have always had fun. But the bad is that food service is terrible. The menu is O.K. but it takes for ever to be waited on and even longer for the food to come. We waited for 20 minutes for our bill after asking for it. Over all, it took over 90 minutes to have a soup and a sandwich. Two couples so we spent a total of 360 minutes off the floor when we could have been playing. We only go on weekdays so its not as if the place is super busy. Wonder if they've ever thought what it costs them to provide such lousy service. We have decided that the next time we go - and we will return a time or two before our winter is over - we're going to take coffee and a couple sandwiches and eat in the car so we don't get so frustrated.

Had family and my partner with me for a fun evening of spending time together laughing and cutting up while winning at the machines. This casino is smaller than some but pay off are still great and can play bingo 5 days or nights (per hours) posted

If you are use to Vegas, Coconut Creek, Hard Rock in Tampa, you will be surprised at this casino. It is small and not overly appealing on the outside. You sure won't lose anyone inside. We felt comfortable and not overwhelmed by the size. We like to walk around and check out all the machines, which we were able to do in a short time. We left with what money we brought, kept us busy for a few hours. It is clean and cocktail waitress was around often. We had lunch at the only restaurant there, it was okay, we opted for cheap. There are alot of choices on the menu. It is REALLY out in the middle of no where.

Truly in the middle of nowhere, I'm a one and done. The drinks were expensive and the slots tight. Place was cramped and people tripping over each other. I'm sure in a few years, it'll be huge as the take has to be unbelievable.

If you are driving around the West side of Lake Okeechobee on RT 78 towards the town of Okeechobee, this casino is a nice facility run by the Seminole Indians. (Note it is on a spur six miles off RT 78)It is small what a small place, but we were greeted warmly and made to feel like we were welcome. We liked the personnel there and it had a nice ambiance about the casino. Mostly slot machines, but there are card tables and a big Bingo hall. It is a definitely a remote place, but a fun casino. If you are in the area, it is worth a visit if you like slot machines and Bingo!

When you go through the front doors, you will see some security staff behind their desks. They greet you as you come in, and once again when you leave. Making you feel welcome as soon as you go there. The casino is very small in comparison to most of the others. They do have a bingo hall, table games, and a smoke free area with slot machines. They occasionally bring in new slot machines which are a lot of fun to play. Their very small restaurant features excellent meals and appetizers as well as their buffet. My favorite meal is the Taco Bowl. Generous with all the fixings. I can never finish it, so I take the rest home. My husband has tried about every meal on the menu and so have I, and the truth is, we have never eaten anything we did not like. Their soups are excellent!!! Slots are loose when they want to be. (smile) But it still makes for a great day of fun. We love going there.

After reading all of the negative reviews here I didn't expect much but needed my "mid-year between VEGAS trips slot fix". I was pleasantly surprised to see that the casino is very clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the slots were quite loose. Yes, a mixed drink was $7, but they're that price at most restaurants. If you don't have the $7 bucks to spare, maybe you shouldn't be feeding your money into a machine. I drove almost 2 hours each way and it was well worth it. I will definitely be back!!

Greeted very nicely at this out of the way little casino. Like the people and the nice atmosphere. Restaurant has a nice looking menu at moderate prices. Watch out for animals on the drive at night and take your cell phone as there are a few very remote stretches.

I have not been to Brighton for a few months until yesterday. I was shocked to learn that two one shot drinks in a plastic cup cost $13.00. That is outright ridiculous. You can buy a 1.75 gallon bottle for that amount. Don't you make enough money? I refuse to pay that amount and will not be ordering drinks in the future.

Well...I finally made it out to the Brighton Casino after living in Okeechobee for 5 years. Ironically, I did not go to gamble...actually went to see a show. But, while we waited for the show to start I did get to play some machines and saw the place. It is mostly electronic slot machines...I really didn't enjoy it...you just put in your money and press the button. There are about 6 card tables which I didn't get to try my hand at but it looked like fun. Then they have a bingo room and a little restaurant. and the event space is pretty good. I don't know what happened before the show... if it was the casino or the performer group itself but nothing was set up...the event was scheduled to start at 7 and didn't get going till 8 and even the extra hour wasn't enough apparently to get everything set up how it was supposed to be. We had supposedly paid for VIP table seating which was kind of a joke...a tiny round table for 6 people and we were supposed to get wait service which was really slow because there were only two waitresses for the whole place. IDK...king of an "eh" feeling. I wouldn't go back to gamble...maybe for another show...and just be fashionable late for it.

First of all, I have to say that we WON tickets to a show at Brighton Seminole Casino plus dinner and $50 gambling money. We were very excited because we have never won anything before. So, first of all from the outside the casino looks okay (sort of like a big shed), although I kind of expected the hotel staff to be going around in golf carts helping the elderly into the building. Nope. Anyway, we went in and got our tickets, not a problem. Then they took us over to get our $50 in gambling money put on a players card. Well, their computer was down because they had been doing an upgrade all week in all the 6 casinos. So, the point is that they KNEW the computers weren't working to load or even create the cards and yet nobody told us so they said we couldn't get our $50, we would have to come back some other time (hey, you know we don't live around the corner). When we said we probably wouldn't be able to come back, it was oh well. Could our neighbor (who does go there frequently) pick it up? NOPE. So, right there we had a big disappointment because of course we didn't get what we won. I couldn't figure out why they couldn't just give us the $50 (in cash) and we would still use it gambling. Couldn't stay in the show because the noise and vibration was so loud that my Mom's AICD unit in her chest was vibrating dangerously. Anyway, that's not the casino's fault. So, we went to get our "free" dinner and it was indeed free (well up to $60) and yet it was AWFUL! My chicken that was supposed to be marinated in spicy seasoning was a couple of pieces of old dried up chicken breasts. The fries and onion rings were inedible. The onion rings were just short of burnt and the fries tasted like old frozen ones. The salad bar was terrible, the lettuce was wilted and brown and even the crackers tasted very stale (even though they were in wrappers). Can't figure out how they could ruin a cracker, but oh well. The tea was okay, that's about the only part of the dinner that was good. And, yet it came to $60, oh my gosh! We gave the waitress a tip for $10 and frankly, that's about all the dinner was worth. Now, let's get on to cleanliness. Oh my gosh, FILTHY, FILTHY, FiLTHY. The bathrooms were so bad you couldn't even use them. There was urine all over the floor in all the stalls and nobody from the staff looked like they were making any effort to check on the bathroom. Since there were only 2 in the whole place with 1 being in the casino and next to the restaurant and the other being way over in the bingo hall it was incredible how they could let that go. In fact, the whole place was not clean. But, the bathroom, I still shake my head at that one. We had a long drive home, but "held" it rather than use those. YUCK. So, all in all it was a "bust" of a night, the "win" was about worthless and we will never go back there again. It was so badly disorganized and frankly only a couple of the staff was polite (the waitress was great). The lady that was the organizer of the competitions was great but she didn't even know we couldn't get our $50, but maybe she did, I don't know. In any case, had we known that we wouldn't have made the trip. OH yes, and as far as casinos go, it doesn't have much unless you really like slot machines in an old metal building. This place gets a 2 thumbs down from our household.

small casino with gaming tables, slot machines and bingo. We have gone a couple of times and although I am not a gambler we enjoyed the bingo ....and won each time

Saw an advertisement for $70,000 Special Holiday Bingo so my husband, mother and I made the 80 minute trek from the Stuart, Florida area. I had called earlier in the day to find out how big the hall was and whether they expected a sell out. The woman informed me that their hall seated about 400 and advised me to get there an hour before the 6:45 p.m. start time. Since we were unfamiliar with the roads and the venue, we decided to leave with plenty of time to spare and arrived 2 hours early. We arrived to find two very long lines for the $70 buy-in. They had two registers open for the huge lines. There seemed to be enough staff though (2 people working the supplies booth, 2-3 others just walking the floor and 3 woman selling extra sheets). We waited in line 60 minutes to just buy-in. (Seems to me they would want to get those bingo players registered and settled so they could get into the casino and spend their money.)They started about 20 minutes late as they waited for all the people who were in line to buy in. Another big delay was before the big coverall game. We were delayed another 10-15 minutes waiting for the game to be "insured". It turned into being a very long night. There are plenty of other places around Florida to play bingo. I would skip this place!
