geneva history museum

Lots of information for both adults and kids. Overall, a good place for an hour or so when visiting Geneva. The seemed to be engaged by the information presented.

Doesn't look much from the outside but the Museum holds some fascinating information about the town history. Will go again to refresh my memory.

The history center provides everything that you would want to know about Geneva. I found it very interesting. .. .some fascinating things, too. They also have a section where they sell "Geneva" clothing.

This is a very active, and interactive, privately funded museum. Located in the heart of Geneva's unique shopping district, it features a comprehensive, interactive,permanent exhibit that covers this beautiful town's history from 1835 to the present. In addition, there are temporary exhibits that revolve in some way around Geneva. Foe example, as I write this there is an exhibit on cartooning, featuring a number of cartoonists who have a connection with Geneva. If you visit Geneva please stop by. It;s worth your time.

It is a small museum, but shows the past time of our town. If you have enough time ask if you could see the timeline upstairs. It was done by Geneva High School Students with the help of a very knowledgeable employee of this museum

Our 18 month old grandson really liked watching the trains at the History Center. He pointed to one train that looked like what his mother rides to work. He also loved the Thomas train.

The Geneva History Center usually has some very interesting exhibits that sporadically go on. I have seen several of them and they are fascinating. A great way to get to know more about the history of Geneva and the rest of the Tri-Cities.

The volunteers are friendly at this little museum. Exhibits change and vary in interest but those we have seen are good. The little gift shop is a good stop to purchase Geneva items like Christmas ornaments.
