Snow mountain wasn't worth the $140 I spent for myself and 2 teens. Parking is $15 a day! Outregous! 4D movie was a flop. Only thing to do on snow mountain is wait in line to zoom down in a tube or wait in line to zoom down in a raft. Snow lanes not long enough. Won't do it again.

We have a memberships to Stone Mountain and it never disappoints. We have been other places where you can tube and play in the snow but not like this. There is a play area for toddlers and separate play area for other children that includes a snow fort that you can go through and a snowball toss area along with a free-play area where they have molds to build igloos or whatever you want snowman, etc. There is a deck with picnic tables and there are bleachers set up for parents to sit while their children play or they can play too. On the deck they have a concession stand with hot drinks along with s'mores kits and they have the green egg grills setup along the deck for you to make your s'mores which I thought was really neat. You can play here before your time to tube and after your tubing session is over if you are not wore out! They have 8 lanes of tubing it moves pretty quickly, and they have 4 lanes of a family raft ride which is super fun! A membership is always the way to go here if you live within driving distance! Snow Mountain or Stone Mountain is still a great value at any price so never worry if you will get your money's worth!

The price was reasonable, the entertainment choices were family friendly, and the carnival like atmosphere was appreciated.

The village was beautifully decorated and lit up. Tons of fun activities for all ages - our kids range from 9 to 14. Our only complaint is that we didn't spend enough time there!

Playing in the snow is not something kids get a lotta chances to do in Georgia, so this is a fun opportunity. There's two rides--with a minimum height requirement--plus an area for playing in the snow. I would recommend going early in the day--we had 9 a.m. tickets--so that the snow isn't too mushy, and the lines aren't as long. Your ticket only buys a 2-hour time slot, but they didn't seem to check tickets carefully.

Sadly there were lines and the policy on employees taking pictures were not good. We had a 2 hour window and only rode 6 times. 3 single rider and 3 family rider. The employees were not able to take pictures which is silly and the ones they took from the camera on the family ride were all 3 blurry and not worth the purchase. Come on people Disney even will take picture for you with your own camera. The 6 times we did ride was LOTS of fun and we really enjoyed ourselves!!!! Great idea but they really need to work out the issues with the lines so you get more time on the tubes.

We came here for our daughter's birthday trip. It was our first time and we have 3 kids ages 10 to almost 14. Our 2 hour snow session started at 10 am. We arrived at 9 to get all set up with our tickets and such. We headed over to the snow mountain play area. You have access to this area all day. For my kids, there wasn't a whole lot to do here. It was better suited for small kids. My kids were disappointed in this area and I was afraid that I might've wasted my money. However, when we went to Avalanche alley/tubing section we all had a blast. The family tube was really fun and our favorite. A tip: get here early. The later in the day, the longer the lines. We bought the snow mountain/3 attraction tickets that came with a meal combo with free refills and a cup of hot chocolate. It was pretty cold that day and the hot chocolate was good and warmed us up. All 5 of us really enjoyed snow mountain.

We had a blast playing in the snow at Snow Mountain. We have a family of five. Our kids ages range from 14 to 5. This was a good fit for our family. My youngest loved playing in the snow and we all loved tubing down the multi person tube. It was much more fun screaming as a family than by yourself. As a Disney family, is this as exciting as Disney? No. But it was a fun easy weekend.

Lots of lines and waiting. Finally get up there and they had 1 of the single lanes closed the entire time, then they would close each lane several times to 'fix' the mats. In 1 hour, we went down a grand total of 3 times. The play area was a joke. They had a snowball target area, but you could not make a snowball with the snow that was there. Very hard packed ice pretty much. I had bundled up our family, thinking we were gonna be getting cold and wet, but we all left dry and warm. Oh, and make sure you bring money to buy marshmallows to stand next to a grill to roast them - they couldn't even throw in a few of them for $30 per person.

My family and I visited this place January, 3rd, 2015. What a wonderful place!! We signed for 11:00 am and get to the snow just in time, no line, no waiting. There was a short line for the snow tubing, maybe a 15 min wait, but in one hour they were able to go do it 4-5 times. We spent the second hour playing with the snow (you are allowed two hours in the snow place). The kids (14, 14, 12 and 5) had plenty time to play and enjoy. They have hats, scarfs, buckets, etc FREE so you can build your own snowman. They also sell smores kits (2 kits/$8.00), you can make 2 smores per kit and they have a very helpful guy who helps the kids making the smores. We also did the skylift to the top of the mountain!! you have to pay separate for this (about $10.00 per person). They also sell some basic winter stuff such as gloves, etc..Beautiful place, excellent service, we will repeat !!

We had a blast on our very first experience of Snow Mountain. We didn't get tickets until we got there (BIG mistake) so we were the last session of the night. The biggest issue was the lines. The workers couldn't get it together on which line people should be in to go up the escalator. Before that, while we took our kids to get measured before getting in line for our time session, others didn't know their kids were supposed to be measured so we all had to wait and time was taken off our session for folks who didn't know (I don't blame those folks, I blame the lazy worker who stood there while people were in line with kids and didn't bother to check whether the kids had been measured. She had nothing better to do!) The snow play area is fun, but slick so be aware with little ones! :)

What a great time. While crowded it was not hectic. The food prices were reasonable. All the staff were very pleasant. I would recommend getting there first thing in the morning if you want to do everything. I got there at noon and stayed until 8pm and didn't get nearly everything I wanted to do done. Snow mountain is a great place to go set in a beautiful location.

I've been to Stone Mountain many times, and this was the first time I was disappointed. We bought our tickets online in advance. When we arrived (30 minutes before our session started), we struggled to figure out which line to be in to get our "lift tickets". We then stood in line for nearly the full 30 minutes. There were kiosks but none seemed to be working so there were three employees checking everyone in, which took entirely too long. The staff was unapologetic and there was no assurance that our 2 hour session ($28 per person!) would not be cut short if we were "late" because of their staffing/equipment issues. When we finally got inside there was another long line to start the session and again, no communication from the staff as to what the process was. Most concerning, when we got to the top and were ready to tube I specifically asked the staff member to make sure my daughter went ahead of me in the next lane. Despite this request she pushed my tube down the launch, leaving my small daughter at the top without her parents! I was furious. The snow play area was a lot of fun and our daughter had a blast, so it all worked out okay, but I was not impressed this time with the customer service.

We just spent two days at Stone Mountain with our three kids (9, 7, 5) plus grandparents and other cousins. It was a great wintertime activity. We went to some of the shows, which the kids loved, plus rode the train. We stayed at the Marriott on site and even swam outside in the large hot tub. But the highlight was the snow tubing, which was very well organized and efficient and tons of fun for all. Definitely recommend! The only problem was that when my father in law called in advance they told him that we could do the 'Baby Snow Mountain' on the first day with our 'Adventure Pass', but then when we got there we were told we could not.

We are retired but felt like kids again playing in the snow! Tubing down the snow hill was great fun! We loved it and plan to bring the grandkids next year.
