We surprised our youngest child with a trip to Babyland General. She was thrilled when we pulled up. We went in signed the registery and we told mother cabbage was about to deliver. We went straight there and saw a cute baby boy be "born". We then told our own baby she could pick out one of the exclusive Cabbage Patch kids ($59.99-$69.99) to adopt. She was over the moon. Even our older two children enjoyed helping her roam the hospital to find just the right doll. We definitely made some precious memories.

I've been twice. Once when I was 12 and again at 40. Still as exciting!! They just moved into a new hospital 6 years ago. This one is much bigger. We took 2 teenagers (14) with us. We got to see Mother Cabbage give birth to a healthy baby boy. We gave him the 1st name Alex and another guest gave the middle name Michael. If you are young or old you will have a good time. We did not adopt a baby this time. It's free to get in and is worth staying to see the birth. We took a video of the birth, but I don't want to share. It's better to see it yourself. The staff is very friendly and will answer any and all questions. We spent a little over an hour there, so we could experience the birth.

I took my wife here because she had never had a Cabbage Patch doll. Bought her the first born on March first 2015. It is a little pricey but the tears of happiness were well worth the money. Staff is friendly and the new hospital is fantastic.

There were no children with us, but we decided to visit anyway. Very welcome, warming place and staff. The "birth" of a cabbage patch baby happens every hour or so. It was free, and fun to look at all the creativity of dolls and children. The dolls are a little expensive, but there are many other options to buy a gift or souvenir.

Our children enjoyed this experience although they did not comprehend The births of the dolls from the cabbage patch but it was entertaining for us. There are a wide range of cabbage patch dolls available.

My wife had promised my grand-daughters (7 and 9) a trip to Babyland General. It's in Cleveland, Georgia, so I had sort of a North Georgia mountain shop expectation. I was wrong (I should have read Trip Advisor). This is not just a shop but an experience and especially for young girls. The births from the cabbage patch are entertaining. There are a wide range of cabbage patch dolls available up to a special delivery straight from the patch in front of everyone for a couple of hundred dollars. The place is very nice and it is a monument to those guys like Xavier Roberts who have those really good ideas that have caught on. But my grand-daughters don't care about any of that. They had a wonderful time and now have two pretty expensive dolls with "Xavier Roberts" birthmarks.

Despite the fact that it is a mansion filled with dolls, which has a creepy factor all its own, this "hospital" is not our cup of tea. The mother cabbages births babies regularly throughout the day, using terminology too close to the real thing. The gift shop didn't have any special deals. BGH is situated on a lovely piece of property in a brand new facility, but that is all its got going for it.

I remember going here as a child, it seemed longer but maybe it was just me. Our daughter had fun which was the point, she picked out and adopted a small doll, and we watched a birth. I wouldn't go to far out of your way not much to see.

I passed out during the birth....was not prepared to see the inside of cabbage and all the gore. Luckily this is a hospital. Haha. Was very cool place. Wife loved it. With all the electronics, it's fun to see kids still being entertained by dolls!

Our last trip to Baby Land General was great. It was Easter and we arrived early to have breakfast with the Easter bunny (check for pricing). During Easter they also have an egg hunt with hundreds of children and thousands of eggs (Free). Then we went inside to see some of the Babies born from the mother cabbage. They take great care to provide a real experience for your child. The baby is birthed and then you can adopt. One thing I like is their are babies at all pricing, so all children can get a baby small to the hand crafted live birth ones. They also have a collection and pricing of some of the older versions. We always have great time and my daughter is already asking to go back again. Also little Germany Helen is only a few minutes away.

This was honestly one of the funnest things I have done in a while. We watched the birth of a doll and got some neat gifts. Can't wait to go back!

I have never owned, nor cared to own, a cabbage patch doll. However, this place is still very cool! We took our two boys (age 3 and 4) and they loved it. It's not just for girls, and not just for fans of the dolls, they make it fun for anyone who comes. We saw one of them be "born" and it was funny and super cute. The boys were mesmerized. If you find yourself anywhere near Cleveland Georgia, you MUST stop by the BabyLand General Hospital!!!

I was very excited to see Babyland General on our trip to Helen. This brought me right back to the Christmas when I received my first Cabbage Patch Kid. The grounds and the building are beautiful! The interior of the building is beautiful as well with a grand staircase in the lobby area. They were all decorated for Christmas on our visit and had a lot of areas for pictures including a huge cabbage chair and some CPK boxes to pose in. They had a few rooms set up with many different dolls for sale. We were able to witness a "birth" and got to name the baby boy. Yes, this is set up as a huge toy store but it was a fun experience.

I wanted to visit here because I had a Cabbage Patch Kid when I was young and my boyfriend's daughter wasn't really sure what they were because she is all into the American Girl Dolls. She loved it and it was fun taking a trip down memory lane with all the dolls. We made it in time to watch the birthing of a new baby which was neat. It is pricey but they had some great Santa Savings since we were there right after Thanksgiving. It's free to go in but be ready to spend money if you have little girls! Santa was there for pictures in the lobby in his sleigh for $10. Definitely a must see for any family with little girls!

A museum/Cabbage Patch Kids superstore that we happened across during a family trip to Helen GA. It turned into a real event for our daughter and her kids - on such different levels. For our daughter it was a trip down memory lane - a trip of bitter sweet memories of her own CPK which she lost in a restaurant shortly after getting it as a gift for her eighth birthday. She never got over it then and had to wrestle now with the temptation to buy herself a new one as a 36-year old Mom. For the grandchildren, it was like being in Santa's workshop with so many dolls, toys and games. The place is full of interesting exhibits and even a live performance of a CPK being born. We had great fun for an hour or so, but at the end of the day, it's a toy store.
