Botanical garden is outdoor situated with many interesting plans and trees, it is in park of university and well kept.

Banská Bystrica was one of the most reach mining in ancient Europe. Therefore it was the birthplace of the technical high schools in the old continent. Maria Theresia found the first European mining and forest Academia here in 1762. The historical school buildings have been situated inside of very pretty botanical garden with nice dendrological collection.

Botanická záhrada v Banskej Štiavnici je určite jednou z dôležitých dominant krásneho mestečka, a je takmer nutnosťou ísť záhradu navštíviť.Je to skvelé miesto na oddych a relax :)

Не пропустите! В этом саду растет секвойя гигантская, и не одна:))) Уже достаточно большие, втроем обхватить удалось чуть больше половины дерева:)) По слухам, где-то растет и гингко, но мы не нашли.

Хорошее место для прогулки, отдыха. Есть интересные деревя - секвои, ливанский кедр. Можно посидеть на скамейках, отдохнуть. Сад или можно сказать парк находится за забором школы, но он открыт для всех.

Der Botanische Garten in Banksa Stiavnica wurde Mitte des 19. Jahrehunders gegründet. Er besteht aus 2 Teilen, einen oberen und einen unteren Garten. In beiden Hälften getrennt durch eine Strasse kann man eine Riesen Menge von lokalen und exotischen Pflanzen bewundern, die sich in bestem, gepflegtem Zustand befinden. Libanonzeder zum Beispiel ist sehr bemerkenswert. In der historischen Stadt ist dieser Garten ein Ort der Erholung nach einer Wanderung.
