wellington main street park

This is a fabulous park with magnificent scenery right on the lake. I took my grandson there to explore and he loved it.

Our park on Main street is the heart of many of our village activities such as: Canada day, Pumpkinfest, and Memorial Day. There is a lovely play area for the young ones with swings, sand, and climbing activities. The park has access to the water from which you can see the Sandbanks and the Rotary Beach. This seating for picnic lunches. The local grocery and variety stores are nearby should you forget something.

We stopped at the park after long drive from Toronto. The place is gorgeous!!! Very clean and well maintained. Big trees give a lot of shade. There are few tables to sit and have a picnic. Great view of the lake and big playground for kids. The washrooms are clean . We liked it a lot .

Our family often visits this park when we are in Wellington. It is a fabulous spot for a picnic - lots of tables available and a such a beautiful view. The park also features one of the nicest playgrounds that I have ever seen. I especially enjoy facing the lake and swinging on the swing set. When we visited on a Saturday a few weeks ago, there was a farmer's market taking place next door. There are also restrooms available at the park and a grocery store within walking distance in case you forget something at home. This is a great spot to stop before or after a visit to rotary beach. Wellington is always pleasantly breezy and one of my favourite places to visit for a day trip.

need a break from shopping, take a leisure walk through the park, with kids or not, the playground is amazing and the view stunning. a must go
