We had 2 guides, Mohamed El Aswany and Ahmed Mostafa Sayed. They were both amazing. Their knowledge was incredible and their enthusiasm never ending. Both were so animated. their command of English was incredible and they brought so much to our trips....brilliant...just brilliant..

They are some of the most irritating folks for those who don't hire them and love to see and observe on own. These guides are so loud and block the place and view of stutters etc and have no concern for others . Don't hire security guard either who pose as guide too. I will suggest if you are really interested in history buy a book and read while seeing the places

Ahmed Eldeak (www.Luxor-tour.de/email eldeak79@yahoo.com) was our private guide for all our trips. As a first class Egyptologist with an in-depth knowledge of his subject and a great sense of humour he was able to point out so many interesting details, including many 'off the tourist 'piste', and with an excellent grasp of English (including colloquial English) we had some totally fascinating discussions. Together with 2 great drivers, Mohammed and Ishmael, our visits to all the sites were made really special. Highly recommended and considerably more reasonably priced than anything we could have pre-booked with an English operator

Took a guided tour with "TRAVCO" and have to say that they are very good at what they do. I visited this place before 2013, but did not have that option to click on in the pull down menu. Cannot visit in the summer, anyone visiting, please go only in the winter as it is a lot cooler.

Lo encontre de casualidad al bajar d ela lancha que me cruzo el nilo; para hacer toda la costa oriental de luxor (rameseun, Medinet-Habu, colosos, valle de los reyes,etc) con las esperas, me cobro 200 libras(25 dolares) el precio lo arregle previamente, les recomiendo que arreglen bien el precio antes de hacer cualquier cosa, y que quede bien claro lo que van a pagar; el me pidio 300Libras, pero negocie y me cobro 200 libras; todo el recorrido me llevo 5 horas y media

Nous avons réservé une croisière sur le Nil avec egypte-insolite et le formidable guide francophone Hussein Ahmed . Il nous a transmis sa passion et fait découvrir des sites et endroits formidables tout au long de notre croisière sur le Nil .Ses commentaires et récits étaient très intéressants car au delà de ses connaissances sur l'Egypte, il avait aussi une très grande culture générale et française , il animait toutes nos visites et c'était avec grand plaisir que nous parcourions les sites, villages nubiens, villes, vallée des rois et artisans, promenade en dromadaire, baignade dans le Nil, souks, mosquées, églises Si vous souhaitez aller en Egypte, n'hésitez pas un instant et faites le avec Hussein car il est formidable, gentil, généreux et il a beaucoup d'humour. Vous vous amuserez !

Mohamed im Hotel Al Hambra - Westbank- ist ein sehr guter Führer und Organisator für Reisen in Luxor und weitere Ziele zu venünftigen Preisen. Spricht englisch.

la visite de Louxor avec son incontournable passage dans les souks (en calèche) très animés et haut en couleurs est avec le port et la promenade le long des berges du Nil une autre richesse de Luxor. Faites une halte devant le mythique hôtel Old Winter Palace qui avec le majestueux hôtel Old Cataract d' Assouan sont les deux plus beaux hôtels sur les rives du Nil.

Après une semaine de croisière en mer Rouge, nous nous sommes rendus à Louxor pour découvrir les richesses archéologiques de la région avec l'agence Memphis Tours. Ahmed Wazery (ahmadwazery@yahoo.com - c'est bien Ahmad et non Ahmed dans l'adresse) a été notre guide pour la visite des temples de Louxor, Karnak, la vallée des rois et des reines. Son français est très bon et comme il est égyptologue, nous avons pu avoir des explications très complètes sur ces sites fabuleux! Il nous a aussi expliqué comment vivent les habitants du bord du Nil, nous avons pu aussi naviguer sur le Nil et visiter une petite île - l'île aux bananes - ce qui s'avéra un entracte bien rafraichissant entre deux sites archéologiques somptueux.Si vous recherchez un guide francophone sérieux et sympa, contactez-le sans hésiter.
