Seeing the animals with great up close view. It would have been great to have more time to observe the animals.

The Kenai Peninsula is a popular place to visit. There are lots of great towns to visit along the way. My favorites were Ninilchek, with it's historic Russia Orthodox church and views of the three volcanos along Cook's Inlet and then Homer with it's fishing culture. We spent about a week and a half touring the peninsula and Salmon fishing with friends

Inspite of all the info available online, a quick stop at this place makes it so much easier to figure out all the things to do in the area, restaurants to go to and really get the most of your alaska trip. The staff is very friendly, they have some great promos.. really worth a stop to plan your trip!

The young lady on staff was very helpful and friendly. It's always special when employees of places like this have been born and raised in the area. There is a small gift shop, a museum, theater, and a lot of stuff animals all over the walls. Worth dropping in. Walk to the "Burger Bus" if it's lunch time!

I have done a ton of research on the Kenai; however, the Kenai Visitor 's Center offers places, restaurants, and events that I may consider for the next two weeks.

Wow, great help on finding out where we could go to see some sites. It was so nice, we were able to walk around on the mountain in the snow that slide down the mountain. YEAH!!

While at Hotel Alyeska we traveled an hour into Seward for the Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise which was a nightmare cruise!Though the crew knew beforehand that there was rough enough weather to offer people a refund, they served lunch and did notpass out airplane bags!!!! Too bad for them, as most of the boatgot sick.

It was a very pleasant drive to Kenai with a lot of small businesses along the way with the unusual tourist items: wood-carved items, fudge and jade. There were also a lot of fishermen and rafters on the river. The visitor center staff was very friendly and helpful and the exhibits were excellent. The parking lot was large and inviting for a picnic lunch.

This is a two fer, part art gallery with impressive local talent, and part museum, with many intersting artifacts and facts about the native culture. It is well organized, friendly staff, and very clean restrooms. There is a small gift store in the lobby. Also, films are shown. Please make a stop here qwhile visiting the Kenai Peninsula and Kenai. Ask where Veronica's is, in Old Town. It is a 100 yr. old cabin, which has been a popular lunch and espresso spot for many years. Gorgeous flowers, and a view of the inlet nearby!

A wealth of information and beautiful museum displays. Movies were very good too. Ask for directions on how to drive back to the beach behind the center to watch the dip net fishers. I think the season is for the month of July for Alaskan residents. Park in lot for a small fee and walk among the fish camps...local families getting their fish to stock their freezers. Many were smoking their fresh salmon too.

Very helpful ranger and detailed maps available. The detour through the forest on a dirt road adds a half hour to the trip, well worth it.

Girdwood is over two hours' drive from this location (Kenai).

Lokasinya sangat mudah untuk dicari karena dekat jalan raya, pelayanan yang sangat ramah sekali membuat anda tidak kecewa untuk singgah di tempat ini, tempat tidak begitu ramai dengan pengunjung.
