I happened upon a play review last October, and bought a ticket to see 'Enron'. It was such a good performance, my wife and I have been 4 more times to other plays here, and we're going this week to 4000 Miles. I hope to spread the word, we are taking 2 couples with us!

We came in without reservations and there were no seats available. However, they immediately found some chairs that they put very close to the stage so we could sit down. Very efficient bar service as well.

If you go understanding that this is community theater and the actors are not paid, you will enjoy it. They put on a good show whatever the play.

The venue is great and the acting is terrific. We have enjoyed every play we have seen at Second Story. The people are friendly and there is not a bad seat in the house.

I have been to this theater many times, even took an acting class years ago. The actors are always top notch, the plays mostly excellent. I strongly recommend your selecting a play that interests you and go!!!

2nd Story Theatre is beyond fantastic in every way.The programming is thoughtful without becoming obtuse and snobbish. The cast is topnotch, giving heart and soul to performances -- after they've sold popcorn and greeted you before the show. In other words, this is a multi-tasking group of energetic, bright, sweet people.Never ever in my many, many trips to 2nd Story have I been disappointed. The cast throws itself into every endeavour with great energy and focus, and the venues themselves are excellent (plays are performed in Warren and, at times, in Bristol). In either case, there is plenty of free parking in those areas and lots of places for dinner beforehand or coffee afterward. In my opinion, 2nd Story is the most consistently appealing live theater on the state. These folks clearly love what they do, and as a result have a huge and dedicated fan base. Take a bow!

very nice little theater to go watch a play. I've only been here a couple times with my family and friends but it was a great experience both times. every seat is a good seat!

cozy theatre seats that are close to the stage! The play "A bright new Boise" was interesting! Made us think of what could be! The actors were very good.

What a gem of a place. You would think you were seeing a Broadway Play. The theater is on the smaller side making you feel you are part of the play. They put on true quality performances. If you have not been there you will not de disappointed.

Over the years this theater company under Ed Shea's direction, has come into its own. Second Story is a destination theater for lovers of good theater throughout our region. The ticket options offer excellent value.

I am a season ticket holder for many years. This performance was one of THE best among many "bests". Jeff was fantastic (and I am not a relative, friend, or business associate!). Already fell under Ara's spell in "Take Me Out", and hoping to see more of Marlon and Valerie as well.

Went with my friend whose daughter appeared in the play. Went last year when I was visiting. Make sure that I go to this theatre when I am in the area. Small theatre with excellent results.

We have been Second Story subscribers from its inception. The creative product has been consistently excellent. The Artistic Director . Ed Shea, selects interesting plays and directs most of them himself. The repertory cast is talented and dedicated. It's worth the drive to Warren for almost anything that is produced by Second Story.

A small local theater that has become a local institution. With strong local support the theater has been able to install air conditioning, comfortable seats and a stage that now accommodates great scenery. The productions are outstanding and the 2012/13 season promises to be terrific.

Gadgets? Yup, that's what I struck me when I attended my first show there recently. It's a typical local small community theater But they had this rotating stage which was kind of cool and allowed for multiple sets. I thought it to be a versatile set-up. My local theater has a very small stage and the performers are barely off stage when in the wings and scenery changes are minimal due to lack of space. Perhaps that's why the rotating stage was so notable to me. Only cringed a few times when performers had one foot on the solid stage and the other on the rotating one as it rotated -- they were pretty nimble footed and managed to stay on their feet. I guess they must get used to it.I saw Divine Sister (?) while on vacation in Newport and enjoyed it. Cast was talented and show funny.Should mentiion that while it is indeed on a 2nd floor - they do have a freight style lift for those who need it - otherwise expect about 15 stairs in as well as those up to seats. They can accommodate seating via a call-ahead. All that said because we had a person with us who has some mobility issues.
