Brimstone is WAY over rated. I attended the RZR Event and was quite DISAPPOINTED! Won't be back. We drove around 300 miles and I would consider driving to Glamis before considering driving back to Brimstone. We anticipated a mob of people for the event (25000 tickets were supposedly sold), and that didn't taint our experience, but the park sure did. Camping was primitive and that consisted of a field with porta-potties and a generator powered temporary lighting system at the gate. The generator ran all night and was quite loud. No water was available at all other than what you could buy in the less than liter bottles. I am a back country hiker, so roughing it isn't an unusual experience for me, but at $20 a night, this experience was nothing short of a joke. Left the event early and drove to Cherokee National forest and camped in their group camping area for $20 a night and that included bathhouse, electrical, water and an occasional patrol by the park ranger. The trails are okay at Brimstone, nothing exceptional. They have a trail "1" called four lane that is crowded and narrow to the main connector trail for the park. If you meet another SxS on the trail you almost have to stop to have clearance to pass. the far south end of the trail is softball sized rocks and is the source of the name of the part according to locals. I can only hope that Polaris will consider moving the East Coast event to another park. Brimstone touts that Huntsville TN is SxS friendly and I really didn't get that feeling. There are NO food outlets near the park. The only food, unless you bring it, is available from the food trucks available at our event. None! Of the trucks at our event, only two had a meal type food, the others was smoothies and funnel cakes. Polaris clearly didn't visit this park prior to booking it for this event. If they had they would have surely picked another site.

We rode two days at the North Cumberland WMA Sundquist Dist (Ride Royal Blue) and enjoyed their trails much more than Brimstone. It was more expensive to ride at Brimstone. Each person (driver and passenger) had to purchase a pass. I feel like we (day riders) were subsidizing all of the other activities (concerts) that Brimstone sponsors. We were checked for passes out on the trail. You had to purchase a map which was hard to read because the trail markings were so small. The Brimstone trails were not always rated as indicated on their map. You could tell by the size of the ruts and mud holes that the trails get a lot of use. Watch out for the rattlesnakes and scorpions!

Love the view, the trails, the rides in general. Our family has made some great memories at Brimstone Rec. Would highly recommend this attraction!

If you are looking for adventure in the woods head to Brimstone. They have trails for everyone some were a little to rough for this old girl:) Stayed in the River side cabin which was very nice sat on top of the hill over looking the camp ground. Everyone was real friendly had a great time! Only thing I could say bad the rules should be enforced a little more.

We have rode the trails at Brimstone lots. We've been at several white knuckle events, including this past may. Checking in to get your pass needs work, there is not enough staff to carry the crowd that these events bring in. Be ready for a long wait for you permit, even if you preregister on line. Lots of good trails, the good the bad and the ugly. Not all trails are marked so be prepared to get on an ugly trail (red) and not wanting to. If you have kids riding with you it's not a good thing. It is still a Greta place to go for a ride!

Was at Brimstone over Memorial Day weekend for the White Knuckle Event.Trails varied from novice to expert, with great scenery, and with the event having concerts and other activities, it is something every 4wheel and UTV rider should experience.I would suggest getting there as early as possible if going during an event.

Here for Memorial Day holiday weekend. Very crowded around parking and camping areas but will definitely be back. The riding areas were awesome for some sight seeing and rock climbing in the UTV. Love the Tennessee hospitality.

If you want to ride some of the best off-road trails in the country then come ride Brimstone's 300+ miles of trails. My favorite place to stay is the Cabins of Elk Run just off the #2 trail head. No matter what the season riding Brimstone is just plain fun for everyone in the family!

Came down for the SxS ATV Roundup and concert, had a great time on the trails and at the concert! Trails for every level of rider. I saw everything from rock buggies to child size dirt bikes, the RZR's were the most dominate choice of ride...
