I have been past St. James a million times and never knew this little gem was just a couple miles off the highwayHad several very nice wines for tasting

My boyfriend and I have gone here about three different times in the last year. Each time we just cannot hardly get ourselves to leave. The tastings is definitely the way to go! You get to sample so many wonderful wines. Then when you are done with that, get a bottle or two to kick back and enjoy with. The fire is lovely to sit in front of, listen to music, pet the pups and have a wonderfully relaxing time. The vineyard is peaceful to walk through, and pond is mesmerizing. And if you can get a tour from Andrew, he makes learning about wine making so much fun. We cannot wait to go back in again!

Not your typical commercial winery. This place is the real thing like Napa and Sonoma California some 30 years ago. Grape vines are still getting established, but been there long enough now to start producing some excellent wines. We enjoyed the tasting and the owner's knowledge and history. Very fun, laid back, not pretentious. Whether you know a lot about wine or nothing at all, this is a great place to get started learning about and tasting wines. Prices are reasonable. We purchased the St. Vincent's red, very drinkable, the pear and apple wines, too, were fun and a white moondrops.

Cousin brought us here. They are doing some interesting things with MO grapes. It is worth the search and find.Keltoi, you could have sold me lunch...or even the makings thereof.I choose a winery poised for growth.

My wife and I really enjoyed the stories told by Erv about the history of his wines. We sampled 8 wines for $5 each and got to keep our lovely glasses. The vineyard setting was charming as was the greatroom, fireplace and patio where you can enjoy your first bottle. We will be back for another visit.

Keltoi has come a long way in the last 5 years. We used to stop because the wine was ok and we liked to support wineries in our home state. Now we find reasons to go because the wine, simply put, is good. It's not just good for Missouri, it's good for anywhere. Like many MO wineries, they have many sweet wines (it sells around here) and a couple of dry. We typically gravitate to dry wines, and like Keltoi's Norton and St. Vincent very much. However we do enjoy some of their semi-sweets also. Just opened their sparkling for St. Patty's Day, and I'd like to go back and buy a case. If you're in to wine, and looking for something both unique and enjoyable, make this visit happen. Chances are good the owner or winemaker will pour your tasting. Take some food with you, and enjoy your bottle by the pond or while walking through the grapevines (It's that laid back, you can just walk through the vineyard unattended).

This small winery offers a comfortable atmosphere and great wine. The physical location is quiet and free of visual obstructions. The wine here is fantastic. They have a wide variety of wines including seasonal fruit wines. I have been to a couple of the bigger wineries in Missouri and they were terrible compared to Keltoi. The winery tour here is so much better than those offered at St. James for example. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. You won't be disappointed if you make the trip here as long as you check their business hours first.
