Went there recently for a funeral service. The grounds are stunning and the architecture and sculptures are beautiful. Bet it is even more special in the warmer months. Got to enjoy their Polish perogies and cabbage rolls. Yummy!

A very beautiful place. We strolled the grounds which were beautiful. The cemetary and small church on the grounds were my favorite. The small church had such a "old and Vintage" feel. The museum part inside the Big church was a wonderful masterpiece of art.

Sitting high on a hill on Ferry Road, this massive church has an upper church and a lower chapel. On a clear day, you can see the skyline of Philadelphia from the top of the main steps. The upper church has two gigantic stained glass walls that trace the history of Christianity from its beginnings to it's coming to America. The upper church has a replica of the Black Madonna icon, the original of which is in Jasna Gora, Poland. The lower chapel was built to resemble that of Jasna Gora. Saint John XXIII made a visit here before he became Pope. There is a small wooden chapel back near the cemetery that was built in Poland hundreds of years ago, disassembled, and reconstructed on the grounds of the shrine.

It is very worthwhile to visit the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown. I visited at Christmas and the decorations were lovely and the history of the shrine is very special. Beautiful grounds and setting and outstanding view of the Doylestown area. There is also a lovely Rosary Walk.

What a peaceful retreat! A beautiful way to get in touch with your soul. A place to ponder and reflect. It was the first time I ever saw an outdoor roasary garden. The church, chapel, shrine, stained glass, prayer candles, altar, retreat house, outdoor Stations of the Cross, and the Rosary Garden made this a very pious experience.

The Black Madoona, the patron Saint of Poland is located right here in upper Bucks County , P:ennsylvania. Open year round, it holds a special family-fun week around Labor Day every year. We stay in New Hope at Wedgwewood Inn and drive over.

This was our third visit to the shrine, my first for the Polish Festival. We have always enjoyed our visits here, includung once going to mass in polish. The festival was enjoyable, but a bit expensive. Maybe if I was Polish I would have liked it more. The food was a bit dissapointing, especially the perogies. Still an enjoyable afternoon.

I have been to the real place in Poland and so this is no comparison. However, it has some interesting stained glass, a shop selling Polish memorabilia, and a place to eat Polish food.

The shrine is just plain beautiful, both the church and the grounds. The gift shop is huge with a variety of lovely things including books, DVDs, art work, statues, rosaries, holy cards, and many other items. It is an interesting and spiritual place to visit while in the area.

What a solemn but beautiful place to honor friends and loved ones. I was especially moved by the section for the veterans both American servicemen and Polish military vets.

Located a few miles north of Doylestown the Shrine encompasses a large area. The are several chapels on the property besides the main church. Masses are offered in both Polish and English. There is a large religious gift shop next to the church and a cafeteria on the weekends.

The impressive shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, the Black Madonna, is a memorable place consisting of a large basilica, chapels, cemetery, cafeteria, religious store, outdoor way of cross. The place is especially festive during multiple special events including the annual Polish Festival in September. The church has stain-glass windows depicting the history of Poland and history of United States. There are places here to pray, to reflect, to walk.

The shrine offers much for one on a pilgrimage. The church is lovely, the grounds are serene, there is a gift shop and ample parking.

My Mom and Dad were visiting this Shrine before I was born, and the Shrine is one of my earliest memories, thanks to Mom and Dad. There is great reverence here, a beautiful Shrine on a hill, a lovely place to pray and meditate. The annual Polish Festival has been great fun, and I have good memories from decades and decades ago. The reverence and devotion experienced here is reminiscent of Jasna Gora in Poland. While the Festivals are always a great source of family fun and good memories, the best memories are of my Mom and Dad sharing Mass with us here, and praying here many and many times through the years.

The Shrine of Czestochowa is a wonderful place to visit and pray! Lots of great grounding energy there! There is a nearby park called Peace Valley which is nice to hike or go sailing as well! I've been to both places many times over the two decades plus that I have lived in the area! I went there today to offer my stress to Mother and she brought me to peace! Love!
