I was pretty underwhelmed by this "attraction" once I arrived. Several floral offerings had been left at the rock, but it was simply lame. I wouldn't bother going to it.

The phallic rock is supposed to have sacred value. I really wish I had read up on it. It looks phallic mostly from the front side. There were some offerings of fruits on both sides of the rock making me wonder what sort of a wish the offerer might have had.It is a very short walk through the woods, but a bit steep closer to the end. I found myself breathing hard although I consider myself to be top fit. So, though short, some may need help.I was a bit annoyed to see someone marked the person's name on the rock even when the signs along the road said that people should respect the monument.

This is a short walk through the woods, mostly flat with a minor incline at the very end to get to the rock. It's a nice stroll through the ironwoods, which makes it feel like you're nowhere near the tropics. It can be a bit cool up here in winter months, so bring your hoodie with you.

Although other visitors said this was an easy hike, I was not able to negotiate the trail on the final uphill section. Bad knees and hips, even with the aid of hiking poles, protested loudly & refused to let me get to the rock. I'm posting this just as a note to any of you who deal with a falling apart body. Save your energy and go walking elsewhere.

This rock suppose to have a special power to make a female pregnant, so if you would like a baby, touch the stone to make a wish, if not don't touch it!

This is at the end of Highway 470, right near the Kalaupapa lookout. Not much to see-just an interestingly shaped rock.

The walk to the Phallic Rock was pleasant & not strenuous. The name of the rock's name needs no explanation. We were told the legend states if a female spends the night here, she will become pregnant. We left before sunset quickly!

Nice and easy hike up the trail. We had fun on the rock posing and taking pictures. We spent more time doing that, than hiking! You can also check out the Kalaupapa Lookout.

When you visit the Kalaupapa Lookout and return to the parking lot it is a less than five minute walk to the Phallic Rock. You will miss a historic piece of Hawaiian history if you pass up this beautiful walk.

this is a bit of a hike down and then up a pretty steep trek but the actual rock is interesting and good opportunity for pictures.

A fun walk thru the woods to a large rock monolith that in some ways appears to look like a huge phallic symbol - sorta. You can make some fun pictures. Might as well see it while you are at the Kalaupapa Lookout...

Arenjo has a great review. I was going to say keep driving to the end of road. The trail to the rock is unpaved to the left and the paved trail to the right is an overlook. It is more chilly up this high and under the trees and winds.

Scenery along the way was very nice and the legend of women using the site to make offerings for increased fertility was interesting

Just FYI, my GPS led me to the wrong place. If yours leads you to a place where there are cars parked on the side of the road, but there doesn't appear to be anything around, keep driving further down that road. The park is actually well marked once you make it to it. Once you get there, there is plenty of space for parking. Then there is a trail to the left that leads to the Phallic Rock and one to the right that leads to the scenic overlook for Kalaupapa and the north shore cliffs. The trail is an easy walk, but looks like it could get muddy and it is at a slight incline. The trip there and back with photos took about 40 minutes. Nice little walk with other large rocks around to look at.There are good bathroom facilities here, but nowhere to buy food or drinks. It is only about a 10 minute drive from where you could eat though.

Short hike from the parking area. Believed to have the power to enhance fertility. Not much to see on Molokai so we checked it out. Interesting site but not really worth trekking there. Didn't see many tourists in the area either.
