Saturday RiverRock events are a great value with great bands and comfortable ambiance for everyone. Admission, food and beer all reasonably priced, promoters do a great job picking the bands. Mostly tributes to 70's & 80's rockers with some local originals as opening acts, at least one of which (Chris Higbee) has became a headliner.

Historic scenery, next to the winding Mahoning River and wonderful events. Varieties of music all summer long.

What a great place to go to in the summer. Every Friday and Saturday night you can enjoy either local entertainment or tribute bands for an affordable price!!! They also have food and beverage vendors for a quick snack.

Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the many free and low priced concerts held a the amphitheater. We often frequent one of the downtown Warren restaurants prior to the show, but there are also various concession stands located at the top of the hill. The Mahoning River backdrop is nice, and the open air theater is great during the nice summer weather. Storms can put a damper on your evening, so be aware that there is no cover for guests.

We drove 3 hours to rock with one of our favorites, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. We paid a pretty hefty price per ticket for VIP Gold passes, which gave us stage front seating, access to the hospitality tent, and a Meet 'n Greet with Southside. This is a great venue, and Warren should be proud. The food was excellent, and of course Southside rocked the joint! The personal interaction with him was fun, and worth the cost. HOWEVER, there was very little supervision from venue staff. Once the concert started, people who had paid much less to sit in another section were crowding in among our chairs, standing along the stage barricade. The venue manager smoked a cigar throughout the night while he stood at the edge of the stage, even though it was a no-smoking arena. Being a small town, the manager made special allowances to people he recognized in the audience. I've never been to an event where the manager directs the staff who to throw the freebies to! As in "Hey, Tony, make sure the guy in the blue polo gets one---Hi Ken!". By the end of the night, there were so many lesser ticket holders swarming around the stage, and apparently there is no limit to how much alcohol is sold and served. Lots of very drunk middle age people, even a fight or two and a few that had to be bounced off the stage. Not too classy, luckily Southside has a sense of humor. All in all, a fun event. But I don't recommend you pay the $100 for VIP passes---just pay your $25 for the Silver pass, and wait a couple of songs until you too can join the crowd in the front. Nobody is going to stop you!

Very pleasant place to be in nice weather. This is an outdoor venue, so it is very dependent of the weather conditions. The layout is very nice. You can bring your own chair or sit directly on the tiered amphitheater. You really cannot have a bad seat. Depending on the venue , there is seating around the stage area, but it is entirely dependent on how the show is set up, so be sure to check before the show. Each show tends to have different food vendors, so be sure to check exactly what will be there before you go. All and all I would recommend. It is a very nice area. Prices can range from free to an admission charge depending on what the show is

I would like to see more of the actual performers here, rather than the tribute bands they get here. i have suggested this to the people who book acts here, but so far this isn't happening. also i was there during a rainstorm and since there is no roof over the audience and no place for the audience to seek shelter, we got soaked. it could use a roof over the audience. It could also use some permanent restroom facilities.

I saw some of the summer concerts at the amphitheater and they attract a really good crowd! By the Riverwalk Campus is the historic Kinsman House and Womens' Garden. Across the street is the old Millionaires row which is some of the first mansions in downtown Warren-still preserved by historical societies and local businesses. Even if there isn't a concert going on this is still a very pretty place to walk around and sight-see!During concerts they usually allow parking across the street at the First Presbyterian Church.
