i've travelled from italy with my two children, to see and ride new cable parks in U.S. and when i arrived here, it was really a nice place. Good obstacles, except the kikers, that i didn't like.good prices for riding.not a good services, there isn't a rest room, no showers, only a "chemical" toilet....One thing i could not understand: we were not allowed to ride using our personal life jacket, that i've used in many cable parks all around the world and in OWC too, because they say they are not approved..and you must rent the models they have... So let me understand why they let you ride on handmade obstacles not approved... i really don't like that!!

Love this place, friendly staff and great obstacles. You need a CGA vest and they rent them out. Local riders are friendly also. There is a little bro system, I would recommend this for beginners. Nearly no waiting times.

I purchached a four hour pass for this cable park, at first glance I thought it was good however I soon realized otherwise. The average waiting time to get on the water was 25 mins. People that were regulars to the cable park were walking to the front of the line, at one stage of the day I waited 40 mins for a cable! Very disappointing expierence, I would recommend Orlando for cable sking, I had a much better expierence with 5 minute waiting times, a better setup and better value for money!

I grew up water skiing and enjoyed it greatly. Sadly, I don't have access to a boat, and have not been able to share the experience with my wife and children until now. While vacationing in Florida, we booked an hour with an boat & instructor, explaining we had 3 beginners & one veteran skier. McCormick has two main areas, a man made water skiing lake and a wake-boarding cable park (which I can't speak to), sharing a common office area.It took a while to get processed in the office because there were a bunch of wake-boarding enthusiasts ahead of us, but the attendant treated us politely and got us our ski jackets and on our way to the dock. When booking the slots, you book by the hour, on the hour. The reality is that the clock is a little different on the water, and you will get your hour of instruction, but it may be a few minutes late because the instructors are finishing up with other clients. My observation is that the goal is to do right by everyone. The dock area consists of a shaded upper area for viewing, waiting & storage (for them), a floating dock for the skiers to use, and a roofed dock for 3 pretty nice ski boats. The instruction was top notch and I couldn't be happier. They first talked through the process of getting up on water skis on the dock, had everyone grip the rope and simulate getting up. They used a 3 step process, first setting up a boom off the boat's side to get everyone out of the water the first time. phase 2 (which was bypassed for my wife), was to tie a short a short rope (maybe 10 ft) off of the boom, and get the skier up, giving them the experience of skiing while still being in talking range. Step 3 was regular start off the back of the boat with a full rope. The lake was equipped with a ski jump and slalom course, there were some excellent skiers before & after us working on their slalom skills.I would recommend McCormick s to anyone wishing to either learn to ski,get a few runs in, or improve their performance.
