We moved to Jerez for business and family reasons and never expected to be part of such a buzzing cultural city. The Feria is a unique and unmissable experience and as all the locals will attest it is wonderfully open for drinks and lunch - unlike the Seville feria where access to the eating/drinking areas is by invitation. After 3 years of feria in Jerez we are now seasoned visitors, arriving in full sevillana dress for me and the kids. Husband makes do in jeans and a jacket as do the locals. The fair by daytime is magical with the well appointed horses and carriages and freedom to eat and drink and dance. By night the atmosphere is packed and much more nightclub and rather "ugly" if you're looking for culture per se. It is a wonderful experience but come during the day - especially Ladies day and enjoy the spectacle!

We loved the atmosphere although after a while, the noise got to us. Everyone was happy. We went at night and the lights were beautiful. We also went during the day to see the horses. That was amazing too. Really enjoyed the experience. If you are in Spain during the feria festival, make sure you get to one.

Loved all of it from the beautiful horses and carriages to the very lovely ladies in their flamenco dresses and the impromptu flamenco dancing.

Loved all of the horses, the carriages, and the people all dressed up. The indoor kiosks were a big disappointment. It was advertised as having over 200 vendors but we were had pressed to find 20. The horse demonstrations were great, the festive atmosphere, the dancing and singing was fantastic. For tourists, there was a big lack of organization.

Amazing experience and folk festival. Lots of beautiful horses and carriages. Getting to see all these women in their flamenco Dresses, experience the Spanish party at it's best. Lots of sherry and flamenco dancing. You just have to see enjoy and experience!

We went too early in the day to see the Feria at its best, but it was still great to see the people in their finery / traditional dress and to take in the atmosphere. The site is comprised of pop-up restaurants / bars - with a section for the horses. We enjoyed watching some people dancing in a large bar area where we had lunch. O and go for the rebujitos to drink - it is much better than it sounds!

I go to Jerez Horse Fair every year. There's plenty of things to do inside the fair or around the city while it is on. Sevillanas, extremely creative stands and small houses, horse shows and demonstrations, bullfighting. And the horses pulling the carriages are the best of the best you'll see. If you want a "typical/touristict Spanish" experience, then this is a perfect choice.

A brilliant display of horsemanship during the day and a great atmosphere at night ,much singing and dancing and everyone in good spirits.highly recommend this feria.

The atmosphere of this fair is electric, with horse carts travelling up the main straights, random groups of women singing and dancing flamenco in the streets and cafés, and happy people sampling to local sherry and tapas.Don't get there before 3pm-ish as it doesn't kick off until then, then it goes til late!Bathrooms a bit hard to find, make sure you go before heading out.

Beautiful horses, carriages, riders & many, many colourful, stylish 'Flamenco' dresses!Go between 4 & & to see the horses & carriges. Stay or come back after dark to see the vast display of lights.Visit the 'Casitas' to drink Fino and eat tapas and spend time watching the spontaneous dancing of the Sevillanas ...........Bright, colourful, noisy but not to be missed!!!!

I have just come back from the Feria and I had an amazing time! Best holiday I have ever had :) stunning horses everywhere. I enjoyed two horse drawn carriage rides in very posh carriages, I felt like a princess. The people were all very nice. The dresses the ladies wore were so bright and colourful, lots of people were dancing around. Really nice jolly music everywhere along with lots of casetas where you could enjoy traditional Spanish food and drink, being able to speak a little Spanish is helpful when ordering food as little English is spoken and the menus are all in Spanish. I was also there the night when there was a firework display and the lights were switched on which was great. There is also a rather large fair ground with plenty of rides for all ages. There is an information area where the people were very helpful and advised me on the weeks events as there were different things going on each day. I can not wait to go back again!
