I had a couple hours to kill before catching a train and figured why not, a hat museum. There are hats from all over the world and a beautiful blonde woman will show you the different rooms. It is a great bargain and I highly recommend it.

I met this place by chance walking in the streets of Old Riga. The museum of traditional headware is a beautiful idea, strange nobody created it before! I was pleased to see so many intricate and amazing headdresses from all over the world! Deep gratitude and respect to Anita and Maria, the pretty hostesses of the museum!

Wonderful museum in Riga! Great place for families and all those who are fond of traveling around the world. Will certainly return here!

Riga continues to surprise - turns out here is a place where to see and appreciate ethnical and cultural diversity of the world. Museum has quite impressive collection of ethnical hats from almost all around the world. We even saw crown of a shaman! If you want to get to know more about each hat, prepare to spend some time there! And it seems to be a nice place for kids. While our visit there was a birthday party, seemed to be fun! Definitely not to be missed!

I visited this museum in Fabruary 2015 and I was impressed by the variety of hats (about 350) and the creativity of different ethnicities! The founder did a great job. The guides were professional and very polite. Highly recommend this museum.

Museum is a unique and intriguing experience of genuine ethnic cultures presented by hats and shoes from all over the world. It is very conveniently placed in the heart of Riga with an easy access from all other city tourist attractions. An intreresting collection seasoned with very professional and invigorating excursion sweep you into the wonderful and enriching journey over the world of traditional costumes. Excellent and highly recommended for both individual, family and groups.

A quiet street of central Riga hides a boutique and unique museum where all possible and most crazy variants of headdresses are shown. The guides are quite pretty girls, and the collection is astounding. They have weekly master classes for children too.

It's in quite an obscure location but worth finding. The range of hats is impressive and the guides are very informative. The kids loved trying some of the hats on.

The world's only museum comprising most interesting traditions of headdress across the globe. May be recommended for both children and adults coming to Riga. Conveniently located in the city center. Guides are pretty and professional, and the collection is exceptionally interesting, just like a trip around the world in 1,5 hours.

Очень не стандарный музей. Для тех кто любит классические варианты музеев- то им не сюда. Интересные коллекции. Своеобразная атмосфера в внутри.

Мне очень понравился этот уютный, камерный музей. Великолепная коллекция. Особенно впечатляют головные уборы разных русских губерний. Также замечательные шапки из Африки, и шаманские шапки. Очень понравилась экскурсия.

Совершенно не собирался идти в этот музей, но когда экскурсовод сказала, что такой музей - единственный в мире... пришлось пойти на поводу у жены и согласиться с визитом в этот музей. Как не странно.. но мне понравилось. Многие вещицы весьма оригинальны и интересны... Если есть время - зайдите... думаю не пожалеете... Такое в других местах не увидите...

любые неординарные музеи всегда интересны, поэтому если вам поднадоели типовые и привычные музеи, идите сюда :)
