Great wine, service and shop.My only regret is that I could not have taken more of it with me home!!

At Stefan's Wine Paradise customer service is number one! This is so seldom practiced inGermany and so appreciated here! They have many locally produced wines and brandies and various souvenirs. The special here is that they will ship wines to your USA address. If you are in Germany, maybe you want them to do a wine tasting at your home? What a wonderful experience!

I have traveled to St.Goar several times and ALWAYS go to Stefan's Wine Paradise. Stephen is awesome to do business with. My friends and I have bought several bottles of wine, brandy and gifts and he has shipped them to the states for us. This year I called twice and had him ship his "out of this world" peach brandy to me. It arrived within the three-four week time frame that I expected. I will continue to do business frequently with Stefan. I would very much encourage everyone to try his brandy...it is the very best. Stefan is a great guy.

I had previously posted a review of Stefans Wine Paradise, which I shall present now in quotes. Since that earlier posting, I investigated this business and now wished to present my findings, but was advised by TA that only one Review each three months was allowed, so I had to delete my earlier one in order to present my new information. Here is the earlier posting:"Has something changed.We had visited Stefan's a few times over the years, but not recently. We had also ordered direct from the U.S. and had it mailed here. We also had our daughter, who lives in Munich - order the Peach Brandy - have it sent to her - then bring with her when she came here. All were satisfactory experiences. No problems.Now, I have some concern - seeing the 2 most recent postings both with negative experiences. I would like to hear an update from these posters.Hmmm -in clicking on "Submit your review" - the site red lines "When did you visit?" - but does not allow me to put in the date; it only gives some preset dates in 2014 and 2013 - neither of which is accurate, but I'll just click on November 2014 - in order to have this posting posted.Visited November 2014".I have now learned from the poster "Were we scammed? Shoppers beware" that since her review - she has, in fact received her order.I contacted my daughter in Munich to check out the situation. Although Stefan's web site is still not working - my daughter phoned him direct (on his cell phone) and communicated with him via email - and also talked to another business in St Goar. She reported that after these contacts and her lengthy phone conversation with Stefan - she was confident that it was safe to do business there. She then ordered a bottle of his Peach Brandy, which arrived at her house in Munich a week later. Sooo - alls well that ends well.

We also visited in September, I have tried to contact Stephan on two separate occasions. He said he would ship our wine and brandy and it has been 1 month and we have received all other packages but not the shipment from his store.We spent a large amount of money and are very concerned. At the very least we should have received an email. It looks like he is reputable from all of the postings, I would love to hear what others think

We had visited in September. Purchased 3 gift baskets, but they were going to have to put 2 more together as they only had one as a display. Instead of waiting for her to put them together she suggested to just put all the products in a bag and I could put it together at a later time. Unfortunately I should had double checked I received everything and sadly I didn't. When I contacted the store, Stefan acted like he was going to make it right, asked for pictures, total, credit card info., etc but never heard back from him again. I tried contacting him several times and no response. It saddens me that's there customer service. Double check you bags before you leave the store!!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoyed the wine samples, the company, Stephan was very helpful and friendly! We were there this past June, bought the brandy and the ice wine; saving it for a special occasion!

Unfortunately, I did not meet Stefan, as I went to the smaller of the two shops in Sankt Goar. However, I can say that my experience was still a delight and the girl at the counter was knowledgeable and very friendly. Ice wine was fantastic, as was the peach brandy. Expensive by themselves but they had a package deal that made everything affordable.

An interesting shop.Wine, Cuckoo clocks and more.Stefan gives you good advice and plenty of opportunity to taste his wine and flavoured brandies.A very pleasant interlude.Of course, you buy.But you won't regret it.I opened 3 bottles when visiting a French relative.Even he praised it, German wine!We are glad we stopped and shopped.

We had an absolutely perfect experience shopping here! We rode bikes all the way from Bacharach, so we were sweating when we walked in. Stefan immediately turned up the AC and offered us a drink as we browsed his vast collection of cuckoo clocks. Once we narrowed it down, he suggested doing a wine and brandy tasting "to clear our heads a little". Great suggestion! He has some fantastic flavors there. We chose one wine and one brandy to buy in addition to four cuckoo clocks- one for us and three as gifts! I also snatched up a beautiful nutcracker. There is such a beautiful selection of Christmas merchandise I couldn't resist!To comp us for the cost of shipping to the US, Stefan added a bottle of red ice wine, which I had LOVED during the tasting but wasn't planning to buy because of the cost. We'll take it! The whole time he was so friendly and full of information, clearly a guy who loves people and loves his job. We also met his son, a wonderful boy who is clearly passionate about cuckoo clocks. If you will be in the area, you must visit Stefan! It is a wonderful experience to shop there, and there is something for everyone! A much bigger selection than any other shops we visited in both St. Goar and Bacharach, plus service with a smile. visited this little shop to look for gifts for home. I found my coo coo clock that I have been hoping for, they will be shipping it to me. They said it would take 4 to 6 weeks and can't wait!:)......So many clocks to chose from it was very hard! Thank you for the nice visit!

We love Stefan and his wines and brandys! Can't wait to drink the ice wine and the mint choc brandy :)

Lovely shop. The store clerk was offering samples just outside the door so we stopped and tasted the peach brandy which led to many more samples and a good half hour in the store chatting with the clerk. She was very friendly and generous with the samples! The different flavoured brandy are all delicious, it's hard to choose a favourite but the peach is definitely one of the best. Their ice wine is great as well, if there wasn't a limit on bringing back liquor internationally, and weight, I would have bought quite a bit!Don't miss this little gem!

I have been to St. Goar two times now and each time I have enjoyed the peach brandy! He makes the best brandy I have ever had. Coming from the states it is such a joy to meet his inviting clerks and I even buy his products online and ship them over seas! It makes for a great treat and a great conversational piece as an after dinner drink. You must stop here on your way up or down from Rheinfel's castle during your stay in St. Goar

This is a shop on the st. Goar high street that is solely renowned by the good reviews on this website!The owner Stefan makes his own Wines and Peach brandy. The brandy is outstanding from the first sip.Stefan enjoys to share his wines and lets you on the local and family history of the business . Clearly this is someone who enjoys his job and customer is king.The shop also sells cuckoo clocks and kick knacks with a lot of collection to choose from. We bought both the cuckoo clock and brandy. All in all an enjoyable experience and a good brandy to remember it by !!
