This is newest park from my understanding and the best I walked through during my three week stay in Santiago, Chile. I went here a for festival called "Echinuco" which is an event where you get to learn, taste and experience Chilean culture through foods, art, clothing, and wine. I stayed in the festival about 2-3 hours then left and walked this beautiful park for about another hour and a half. This park is a bit off the main path and city life of Santiago. The closest Metro Station is "El Golf" then you can take a taxi from there for about 7000 pesos (U$ 11) and spend a nice day walking or have a picnic. You can watch patrons play with remote control cars, fly kites, and play with remote control boats on the man-made lake. You also get to look at a smog free image of Santiago's modern towers. I highly recommend a visit to Parque Bicentenario for travelers and tourist visiting Santiago, Chile.

With two water ponds, one for swans and fish, the other for remote control boats, dogs training ground behind a fence, beautiful sculptures, awesome lawn, plenty of outdoor lovers, clean and safe day in the sun.

I went to this park on my last day in Santiago. It's a bit far, but worth the detour to relax under the sun. The restaurant on one of the ends is very nice (get the Churros!) with a great terrace. Along the paths you have plenty of places to relax and hang out, on lounging chairs. The park is surrounded by hills (Cerro San Cristobal) and you have a good view of the city's buildings. When I went (feb 2015) a big part was under construction, but it was still nice (I don't know exactly what's planned for that part).Nice park to relax and enjoy the summer.

Hi, this is a very nice park, especially if you have dogs or children and live in Santiago. The restaurant next to the park is excellent and the Children's play areas are great. The trees are a little small, however I am sure they will grow wth time.

Been there, saw it, walked it, saw the lake, got dirty with the gravel paths, enjoyed walking, but nothing great. it is new, so with time it will settle and be better... jut try it, give it a chance.

I ran from the Marriott to the park via the backstreet suburbs, then two laps and back - a flat, calm run with good views. The park us very clean and well-maintained, with a playground for kids, open spaces and an "outdoor gym" area, plus places to eat and plenty of water fountains. It's possibly a little sterile for some tastes. The southwest end is blocked by massive building works at the moment: I was hoping to continue towards the city centre.

We went to this park to see a childrens' play (The Steadfast Tin Soldier) and walked around a little before the show. The park is quite big and very well mantained. There is enough meadow to hang around and play. The park has also offers sunshades for the visitors. There is an artificil lake where you can feed the swans and carps (there is a food dispenser) and entertain children for a loooong time.

A nice little place to get away from the noise and bustle of Santiago. I wouldn't recommend this as a specific tourist destination, but rather for short retreats if you are otherwise in the area.

A OK get away from the center if you live further downtown. It's relatively new, so trees are still small but the view of 'Sanhattan' is pretty cool, like that of a typical US city. I prefer the parque Araucano in any case.

It was a little bit difficult to find, but I enjoyed the time walking around it once I found it. Big enough, and interesting enough for some like me who was just looking for a nice walking path. This park is enjoyed by families, dog walkers and cyclists. I particularly liked looking at all the birds on the pond at one end.

If you are sating in the Vitacura neighbourhood (or just passing through) this is a beautiful park to spend some time. It is well laid out with different spaces for people to use. There are three great play areas for children of all ages and plenty of shade umbrellas and chairs to lounge on when you are ready to get out of the sun. The kids (and kids at heart) can buy food to feed the swans, fish, small water birds and flamingos which is always fun. There is a restaurant at one end of the park as well as an ice cream vendor and a separate food to-go vendor within the park for anyone who gets hungry. We enjoyed running around the park on the paths most days of our time in Santiago.

Its a nice park for running, walking or relaxing. Well landscaped and an attractive view of the city. Its a safe area and running through the adjacent neighborhoods is also fun.

Nice place to walk, to ride a bike, to take the children and to stay for some time under a tree resting or reading a book. There were lakes, walking paths and a very good restaurant!

A beautiful place to walk or go with the family, has a ice garden, lagoon and even swans to feed! Totally reccommendable.
