Really has been done up. I attended a weeding in Feb and a launch in March.Food was great but not as much as I would have liked at the launch. I found if you stood by the door where te food came out, you got a lot more. Drinks were well served, staff very friendly and helpful.

That's where I meet my Brisbane Greeter. Also she showed the sculptures there and told me the history of them. There is a big screen in the George Square, so I watch a play of World Cup there last year. Wonderful.

Well maintained old architecture within the Brisbane CBD. The building is kept clean overall and few areas to visit within the city hall.Things to see including the free museum and the clock tower tour. Make sure you grab the tickets early if you want to have the choice to choose a preferred time slot.Good place to take photos outside the building.

Fantastic display of costumes. Also enjoyed the trip in the old lift up to the clock tower. The copper dome is amazing - unfortunately we couldn't go into the concert hall to see it from below as there was a private function on.

the city hall museum was free and very informative. a ride up the old origibal elevator to the top of the clock tower was very nice. again, all of it was free... a fantastic value!

We toured the city hall as part of our Brisbane Greeters tour. The city hall does its own tour and i suggest you join one of those (they are free) to learn about the history of the City Hall

The City hall has been brought back to its former glory. The auditorium was magnificent and the concert was perfect.

This was our first time back to the refurbished City Hall. It was to the Queensland Symphony Orchestra's "(Not) The Last Night of the Proms" which was just fantastic. Seats were not allocated and as we were able to get there early we got a seat in the second row from the front in the left hand middle section. Fabulous seats and especially for the violin solo by Warwick the Principal Violinist. His final notes were very high, soft and magic and I hope that everyone else seated further back and on the balcony could hear them. Previously the City Hall was not renowned for its great acoustics. No fee to go into the City Hall but you had to book and pay for the concert - look for concerts on the Brisbane City Council's website. The vast majority seem to be free including some day time ones in the City Hall.

A show of memories of Expo 88 probably closed now but there is always something at the City Hall to see even if it is only the beautiful old restored building
