Very knowledgeable staff, willing to assist with anything and great venue. Lots to see and do in Charleville that we would not have heard about if we hadn't called in.

The exhibits in the complex are of interest and well presented. Worth the nominal fee to browse. I needed information on relatives graves in the local cemetery. The gentleman on duty was most helpful supplied all info and location of grave sites. Date of death, occupation at time of death, in one case cause of death and if there was a headstone. Armed with a map of the cemetery from the centre and the location of the graves I arrived at the cemetery to find the sexton there. He was most helpful and I was able to locate the sites. Loads of info for Charleville and surrounds at the centre. The volunteers do a wonderful job in promoting their area. Well worth the visit.

I have nothing but the highest praise for the folk who operate the Charleville tourism services through the Charleville Visitor Information Centre. They are extremely professional and passionately dedicated to the promotion of their town. You can see they are proud of Charleville, and rightly so.They helped in so many ways, to numerous to mention.

we drove there to see all them birds, the man got us and drove around for 4 hours, talking about his farm, irrigation and how he beat the banks, he talked and talked, when i asked him, where the birds where, he told me, there are none, the breakfeast we got was stonecold, anybody ever eaten cold mutten chops, of all the 200 dollars we spend there all we got was somebody talking and telling us how terrific he was, don't ever go there

Maybe I was expecting too much, Seemed to be plenty of pamphlets Not a lot of Charleville souvineers instead More Cosmos centre stuffThe Lady that served me was a bit brisk when answering questions Maybe being end of tourist season ,she is tired

We arrived in town to stay three nights (probably could have stayed longer - lots to do), the young lady at the information couldn't do 'too much for us' and was passionate about her town, naturally - you'd expect it. What was more though was, the lady asked where we are heading to next. We let her know and she advised on kms to get there showed us the information board on each town on the way and then even went 'outback' of the centre to check the stock of brochures that were empty on display. So not only were we information about the many things to do in Charleville, we were set for the next part of our road trip. Not many towns would know of or encourage travel to other towns as well. Well done Charleville, that's the spirit!

the lass that served me, of Aboriginal decent was polite, charming and very helpful - our stay in Charleville was highlighted by a game of bowls and a superb visit to "Evening Star Tourist Park"

We thank you very much for your review as it brings to our attention that we do need to be aware that the front door is probably not disabled friendly if you are on your own even if it is the correct measurements and widths. Having someone to hold it open makes a difference but when you don't have that we can understand that there would be a problem. Something for us now to sort. Thankyou again.

Very helpful Staff. The Info centre is at the Cosmos Observatory, and handles bookings for many attractions. There is a well-stocked shop and refreshments are available.

We do apologise for those that haven't enjoyed the experience as much and we love to hear the feedback so we can concentrate on what it is that people are wanting or expecting to see and we can fix the problem. Thank you again for your comments, it's good to see we may be on track. We hope the rest of your journey is as enjoyable.

The info place at the cosmos centre has to be the best I've even been in. All the women in there just went out of their way to help you. They ask how long you are in town for suggesting things to do. Without you even asking they answer everything. They have printouts of all the accommodation in town which also includes cost and all amenities and services they provide. They also have the same with things to see and do including phone numbers, if there is a fee, what days they are open and what page in the Charleville visitor guide the activity is on. They have the biggest lamingtons I have ever seen in my life for sale in the coffee shop.

We were very impressed with the guide & information on this convoy (tag-a-long). I didn't know about Charleville's war history. The guide (Monique) was friendly, funny & very informative. The National Trust GOLD Governors Heritage Award for Local Heritage Projects 2013 is well earned.

The staff are extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble. They take their time to explain all the tours that are available, and are very efficient in booking you for tour.
