A journey of incredible wild life and remoteness. Green cape is a bit off the main road but well worth the journey. The tour guides are informative and helpful.

After a fun 20km drive through Ben Boyd National Park over dirt and gravel roads, you arrive at Green Cape headland to be presented with a beautiful collection of heritage lighthouse station buildings and a spectacular lighthouse. They run a tour in the afternoon on Monday to Thursday (I think) for a small fee. The tour gradually works up through the tower, stopping at each level to learn more about how the lighthouse operated and the life of the lighthouse staff and their families. The reward at the end is an outside stroll around the upper part of the tower, where the 360 degree views are stunning. The tour guide we had was informative and friendly and the whole visit was enjoyable. Would recommend it to anyone,

A group of friends embarked on the journey form Eden into Green cape Lighthouse. It is gravel road in from the Princess Highway. It is a little rough but suitable for 2 wheel drive vehicles, drive with caution in all conditions. The drive is worth it! Arriving at the lighthouse you are greeted by heritage cottages, beautifully white-washed and then the stunning design of the lighthouse. All building are in keeping with the period from when they were built. They are well equipped for a weekend getaway - all you need is your food, camera and spirit for adventure. In all weather, the view from the cottages and Green Cape itself is stunning. Dolphins, seals, whales cruise the waters while sea faring birds search from above. There are many walks to be explored, both mapped and not. There are tours of the lighthouse from 3pm- well worth the fee.Enjoying this remote section of New South Wales coastline is easy and highly recommended

Long unsealed road which is hard on small cars to get there but well worth the trip. One of the prettiest lighthouses I have visited even if the new modern lighthouse close by is an eyesore. The strong wind was very cool but not enough to turn away the full carpark of tourists wanting to catch a glimpse at the magnificent structure.

We spent 3 fantastic nights staying in the lighthouse keepers cottages at Green Cape Lighthouse.Total unique experience, wild coastline, completely open to the elements of nature with four seasons in one day. Our entire family travelled from Melbourne and Sydney and we had the place to ourselves. The cottages have been fully renovated and are comfortable, this is not five star, this is a unique glimpse into what it must have been like to live in this truly isolated landscape but with all the comforts you need.Beautiful walks along the rugged coast, seals frolicking offshore, access to the lighthouse and no mobile phones, TV or internet (unless at the very top of the lighthouse), pure bliss. One tip is you do need to take all your own food and beverages for your stay. We walked and explored the coast, sat on the balcony and watched the sun set and relaxed.A truly wonderful, exhilarating experience and highly recommended.
