Simply beautiful! This property is a nice drive outside the "city" and well-worth the trip. The grounds were lushly covered with so many outstanding flowering plants. It is not to be missed.

This garden is an absolute gem. There are narrow paths with huge, lush plants on either side. Then you turn a corner to catch a glimpse of the beautiful scenery of St Vincent in the background or come across exotic and colourful flowers. It is definitely worth a visit. If you are a keen photographer allow yourself plenty of time!

Nobody to greet us on arrival, eventually met by the owner dressed in a vest full of holes. He could then not wait to take our money and disappear. There were no maps of the garden or other information to help our visit. There was no information on how the garden was created, nothing other than "I've got your money now go and wander". The garden is a mass of paths more like a maze, I am amazed we found our way out.The owner, unlike any other garden designer in the world, did not freely share his garden with his visitors, he was curt and unfriendly. The garden, however, was remarkable. Visit, but do not expect to learn much about it.

Amazing tropical gardens high up in the St Vincent hills in the South of the island. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Long twisty steep narrow potholed approach road, for an experienced, right- hand driver no problem, others get a cab.But it is well worth the long haul, you will not be disappointed.

Years of dedicated work by an extraordinary Welshman have produced these lush gardens in the Mesopotamia Valley in St, Vincent - we were lucky enough to meet the owner and get a history and info on the background of the place- great visit!!

We have just been to the gorgeous Montreal Gardens for our third visit. We just love this gem of a garden. It is ideal for a visit of about 3 hours giving time for a picnic and a dip in the river and to see all of the garden. I am reluctant to sing its praises as it could get crowded! Best to stay away when a cruise ship is in port and go when it is quiet and peaceful. The website is out of date and gives little away and tourist information generally overlooks this special place. There are lots of steps to climb in the garden, it is about an hour out of Kingstown (poor roads and a diversion) if you stop at Belmont viewpoint en route. Enjoy!

Recently we have visited St Vicent as part of a cruise stop.My family and friends have visited these gardens as well as Botanical Gardens.Montreal Gardens are really nice place and they are worth of a visit. They are much more beautiful than Botanical Gardens.I know you need transportation to go there but you will not regret. In our visit we could met the gardens owner and he was very polite with us explaining how the garden was built and some of the different flowers around.Very recommended!!

Visited this garden as part of a tour from a cruise ship. The road up to it is very twisty with a steep uphill climb all the way. However what a gem of a place. Sadly our time was limited but the walkalong the pathways provided stunning vistas, and some unusual and very pretty plants at every turn. It was helpful having a very good your guide with us. Well worth a visit for anyone interested in Gardens

We were totally unaware of the existence of the gem on St Vincent. Our taxi driver took us here on our too-early-to-check-in-tour-of-the-island. We were bowled over from the first moments when we met the owner Tim who told us a little of the history of the land. I have limited experience of tropical gardens (coming from the UK) but these were stunning. The winding trails led you through exuberant, lush banks to a tumbling stream crowded with Torch Lillies and back through a mix of semi formal and wild areas to the entrance - just lovely.

I've visited this garden a number of times with my family. Nestled at the foot of foggy capped mountains, this garden makes your visit personal. Its beauty and cosyness inspires a feeling of gratitude and peace within. Its quietness and bold beauty forces you to bond and be at peace with nature. I have never visited this garden and left without the overwhelming feeling of owning a cabin in those hills. If you are planning a trip, take along something to drink or you can stop in the village before to quench your thirst. I didn't give full marks because the last time I visited, my babies were thirsty and we cut the visit short because there was no refreshment stall.

This is perhaps the most beautiful botanical garden we have ever visited. No wheel chair access but easy climb stairs and resting spots at each level.
